Fantastic location directly above the train station and within walking distance to V&A, RRS Discovery and city centre. Breakfast was disappointing so I’d eat elsewhere as there are plenty of options nearby. All staff (reception, housekeeping and restaurant) were friendly and helpful and a great asset to the hotel. Room was clean. Windows don’t open so you have to rely on air conditioning to regulate the room temperature, which isn’t ideal but is done for safety reasons.

The only thing that let's this hotel down, is the lifts & no evening menu. That said, staff were all very helpful & accommodating of this deficit, including inviting me to buy food elsewhere & I'd be provided with utensils to eat in the restaurant/bar area. Lovely rooms, great location, ooh & really nice quality toiletries provided in the rooms. I noticed large group of residents who were disabled in many different ways, I noticed the hotel layout was refreshingly spacious enough for wheelchair users to navigate themselves around & to the tables - very nice to see that provision

A True Lifesaver: Exceptional Service at the Four Point Hotel Dundee!
Our recent stay at the Four Point Hotel Dundee was, quite simply, a dream come true, especially considering the nightmare scenario we faced just hours before. With less than 24 hours to go before a big event on Saturday night, another hotel completely let us down, leaving us scrambling for accommodation.

In a panic, we called the Four Point Hotel Dundee, and from the moment Nicola answered the phone, our worries began to melt away. She was an absolute angel, incredibly helpful and understanding as we explained our predicament. She swiftly and efficiently arranged a room for us for the night, turning what could have been a disaster into a glimmer of hope.

Knowing we needed to get ready for our event, we also inquired about an early check-in. Nicola, ever so accommodating, asked us to call back on Saturday morning, the day of our arrival. True to her word, when we called again, she was just as amazing and super helpful, confirming our early check-in was all set.

Upon our arrival, it was a delight to find Nicola herself at the front desk. She recognized us and, once again, made the check-in process incredibly smooth and welcoming. Her consistent professionalism and genuine desire to help truly stood out.

The hotel itself was fantastic, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. However, what truly made our experience exceptional was the staff, and particularly Nicola. She single-handedly transformed a stressful and frustrating situation into a seamless and positive one.

Thank you, Four Point Hotel Dundee, and a huge, heartfelt thank you to Nicola, for turning our nightmare into a dream. Your great hotel and outstanding staff have earned our highest recommendation!

Newish hotel in immaculate condition. Queen room was huge with lovely view over the Tay. Modern design very cool and really good natural light from floor to ceiling window. Plenty of mirrors! Shower room lovely. Breakfast was good and restaurant spotless. Lovely lounge area and bar. Staff were very professional and friendly actually talked to guests like human beings rather than robots!

Booked this as a suprise for me and my man as it was our 1 year anniversary, I got a shock when I walked in our room and seen they had left out towel swans and chocolates with a heartfelt card from the team at the hotel.
The room we got turned out to be an upgrade also for the occasion so THANK YOU SO MYCH! I’m already looking at coming back to Dundee and i genuinely never thought I’d say that but your hotel and everything you did for us was just incredible.
The staff are so friendly! Cleaners are wee angels letting me Borrow the vacuum also.
Don’t have a bad thing to say ! Can’t wait to come back. X

Good city location is situated above the train station. Train station parking after 6 pm is free. Rooms are big & bright althought tired in places. The bathroom is practically a cupboard, 2 people can't use it at once. The AC seems to turn off after a hour or so and because the windows can't be opened the room becomes very stuffy.

I made a booking at this property but realized an hour later that I do not have a visa to travel to Scotland. I promptly and politely contacted the hotel to explain the situation and requested a cancellation without penalty, given how quickly I reached out after the reservation. Unfortunately, my request was declined without exception. This experience left me with the impression that customer flexibility is not a priority here, and I would advise others to consider alternative accommodations.

Ideally situated beside the railway station, the hotel is modern and serves a plentiful breakfast. Car park ticket validation for Greenmarket saved me a tidy sum! Thanks Four Points Flex x
