I changed my GP practice about a year ago, after being in my previous surgery for over 70 years. What a blessing I did. This is a FIRST CLASS SURGERY.

I have only had to bother the practice twice in a year and each time I have rung for an appointment they have rung me back in about 20 minutes and have given me an appointment the same morning! How wonderful is that. I was privileged to see a Doctor Burrows who is absolutely charming. A young GP and so smart. How refreshing to see a Doctor in a shirt and tie! I am an elderly lady and miss the respect and discipline that has vanished today.

Don't understand the unfavourable reviews. My family has been with this surgery for nearly 10 years and I have always found them excellent. They have given us the best medical support that I could have hoped for. Only once has the receptionist been rather snappy on the phone and that's very low for that profession in the UK! Given the level of help I we receive from the GPs , I am prepared to put up with getting the rough edge of the tongue of hassled telephonist now and then.

Fantastic organisation as usual for the October 2024 Flu and Covid jabs. We had an appointment for around 12.20pm but arrived at 12pm. Seen and jabs almost immediately abd home by 12.15pm. An excellent team of doctors and other providers at Ivry Street.

The best surgery in every way! The receptionist are all lovely polite, kind and don’t sound like they hate their jobs and all the people that call in (like all the other surgeries receptionists). They are so helpful and kind. Getting an appointment on the day is easy and you can do it 2 times a day. The doctors are respectful and listen and make you feel like they care. Even prescriptions team is amazing. You can email them or speak to the pharmacist and again they are kind, polite, nice and seem like they like their jobs and like they care about their patients. AMAZING! THE WHOLE LOT OF THEM! These guys should all run training classes for the rest of the surgeries in Suffolk!

I’ve been with this surgery for 3 years now and they’ve been fantastic. Their online consulting service is great. I can see my visit history and test results in the app. Nurses are great, their blood taking skills are top notch. Scottish lady nurse is awesome, always cheers me up. I found all doctors I’ve seen to be competent and helpful. I have never had problems with reception staff, they are always helpful. I highly recommend this surgery.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Zoe Wragg. The appointment was to discuss my ongoing mental health issues. Dr Wragg was engaging, and showed great empathy and understanding. She listened to everything I had to say and was able to recommended a way forward that I felt was appropriate. It was the most positive experience I've ever had when seeing a GP regarding my mental health. I am incredibly thankful.

Clueless time wasters. Seems it's impossible to get a doctor's appointment in Ipswich. I submitted a new patient form on the 29th of April as my current GP (two rivers medical centre) was no longer taking any appointments. I emailed for an update on the 6th of may and received no response. I phoned today on June 3rd to be told they are not sure why but my application has been lost and to start again after waiting nearly a month for it to through. How hard can it be to get a GP appointment in Ipswich it's seeming like an impossible task.

After 16 years of being registered with another local surgery I thought all surgeries are hopeless, disorganised and very unhelpful, but I'm delighted to have joined Ivry Street practice, as they are always most helpful and deal with calls/enquiries very efficiently.
