We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Cedar Holiday Cottage. The cottage itself is superb, a real high quality home from home. We loved it. Exactly what we needed after a week of travelling and hotel rooms.

The hosts, Alison and Neil were brilliant, we received a very warm welcome on arrival, including a hand written welcome card and a nice selection basket of teas, biscuits, cakes and hot chocolates. They were only too happy to pop round for a helpful chat, making sure everything in the cottage was to our liking and explained the keys, heating, facilities etc. They were also very helpful and available for enquiries about what to see and do in the local area, with some great ideas and recommendations for day trips and various places to visit.

The cottage itself is immaculate, spotlessly clean, very spacious and tastefully decorated with all mod cons, the bed was also exceptionally comfortable. It is situated on a very quiet residential street in Laurencekirk, which makes it a really peaceful place if you just want to sit back and relax of an evening.

All in all, we don't have a single complaint about our stay. We can thoroughly recommend Cedar Cottage and will definitely be booking to return here again. Congratulations to Alison and Neil, its great to find a hidden gem like this and proper, professional hospitality, super job all round.

What a fantastic cottage! We stayed for the week over Christmas and had a wonderful time .

Fantastic rental. Clean, roomy with all you need for a home away from home. Bonus off street parking for 2 cars. Great back views of the Garvock. From Indian to fish and chip shop plenty of eateries, Bizzies
is lovely cafe to check out. Lot of amenities in town, with a train station to Aberdeen for leisurely shopping day out. Cairn 'o' mount just a few miles away with breath taking views take you to Balmoral and beyond.
So glad I found this rental. Would book again.
