The folk here were so lovely and friendly, food was homemade and delicious. It was our first visit. The staff made such a nice wee effort to talk to us and our children making us feel so welcome. Genuinely warm folk running the place.

Absolutely fantastic, affordable place to eat in a small community. Full of community spirit. Went in this morning to see hordes of gifts waiting to be donated to children who really need it. Food is quality home cooked and delicious. The steak pies are to die for and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The owners have the community at heart and every holidays all children eat free (as long as one adult buys a meal). No matter how many children. Amazing. Huge well done to Gav and Liz for being exemplary members of the community. Hearts are in the right place

We ordered food for our daughter’s birthday party, and it was amazing! When we initially placed the order, we were quoted a higher price. However, when we went to pick up the food, the owner informed us that the person who took our order was new and had mistakenly overcharged us by £100. They kindly refunded the extra amount, even though we had already agreed to the higher price. The food was delicious and well worth the money. Highly recommend this place for great food and honest service!

Have visited this wee cafe a lot over the years and have never been disappointed in anything I have ordered. Every school holidays he feeds a kid for free with every paying adult which is a great help. Had the macaroni this time and was not disappointed. Was amazing. Gavin,Liz and the rest of the staff work hard to make this little cafe such a success. Oh and have to mention the amazing cakes. Delicious 😋

The best wee cafe. Good freshly made to order and you get so much value for money.

Not only a great cafe but a family run business who supports the whole of the community by doing fundraisers and offering free kids meals in the holidays.
