A Perfect Scottish Getaway

We had an amazing long weekend at Lower Balwill. The host was incredibly welcoming, and we felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious with generous portions — I especially loved the Scottish porridge and coffee!

The garden and mountain views were stunning, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to unwind.

Highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking to recharge. I’ll definitely be back!

Perfect, we stayed there for three nights.
The gardenhouse in the morning for the breakfast is amazing. (and the breakfast by itself is very good.)
The hosts were very lovely and helpful.
We highly recommend this address !

Stayed here already before when visiting Scotland so it’s a revisit for two nights, cannot recommend enough Lower Balwil Balfron, very quiet, beautiful view from the garden, fabulous breakfast and dogs are allowed as well. A bit tricky to find the first time especially when it’s dark but just need to keep looking for the sign and there you go.

After walking Ben Nevis at the weekend we booked a night here on booking.com for a rest rather than drive home. We was not disappointed Marion met us on arrival and was lovely and very friendly. She shown us to our room which was lovely and comfortable. We had a great nights sleep. Breakfast in the summer house was also lovely, really enjoyed it. Marion couldn’t have been more helpful. Thankyou for a lovely peaceful stay, views from the garden and our room were just stunning x
