A big Thank-you to Libby, Archie and their beautiful family for making our stay in May 2025 most enjoyable ! Our accommodation in the Guest House was gorgeous, spacious and very comfortable. We had a great view from our front window overlooking the sublime manicured gardens. We had a daily breakfast, our laundry was done and our room was kept clean. Definitely will be back and highly recommend to all those looking for a wonderful place to stay in Kilsyth, Scotland !

Fabulous one night stay on our JOG walk. Libby is a great host. Looked after our laundry, offered to pick us up and drop us back to town. Our cabin was very comfortable and quiet. Excellent breakfast too. Highly recommend.

I stayed here with my son while we were touring parts of Scotland. We stayed in the garden room and without a doubt it was one of the best places we have stayed in. The garden room had everything we needed and was warm, cosy and very private. Libby was so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. She cooked us a lovely breakfast before we went on our way. The setting was beautiful and I would recommend it highly! Thank you so much for looking after us.

This place is an amazing working farm ran by a wonderful family. Libby is one in a million. Two of us were cycling the John Muir Way , but due to mechanical issues we got delayed, Libby simply popped out to pick us up with no drama whatsoever. The whole experience was so nice and relights your faith in human kindness, Libby can not so enough for you. If you are anywhere near here and looking for somewhere to stay, go no further, you would be missing a trick.

We weren't sure what to expect, but this B&B was a wonderful surprise. Not only, is this a first-class B&B, it's an actual working farm -- cleanest and nicest farm I've ever been on!! John, our host, picked us up by prior arrangement since we were on the John Muir Way walk across Scotland and the B&B is off the trail. When we arrived, Libby, our host, introduced us to 5 of her 15 grandchildren. They were very sweet kids. We stayed in the guest house which was set apart from the main house. It had all of the necessary items to cook, if you wanted. It is nicely decorated and very comfortable. ||||It's about a 1.5 miles walk downhill to the restaurant, but we were all tired from our 15+ mile walk, so Libby drove us there. When we were finished with dinner, she came back and picked us up. We were surprised how quickly she made it to the restaurant and she said that she had just finished feeding the baby lambs. She showed us the lambs -- really cute. They have 1600 sheep and 50-60 cattle. The yard was lovely and her bird feeder attracted some wonderful song birds . After a great night's sleep and a very hearty breakfast, Libby drove us back to the trail. What an amazing experience, John and Libby run this huge farm operation, entertain guests at the B&B, spend time with their grandkids and keep the neatest grounds and yard. It's an experience you shouldn't miss!

Absolutely gorgeous farm B&B. We stayed in the farmhouse - family room (1 double bed & 1 single) with a lovely view from the huge windows. The house is kept perfectly clean & tidy & is still dated proper farm style. So many lovely ornaments & antique furniture all around. It really is spotless & well looked after. Libby is a wonderful hostess & very welcoming & friendly. Her breakfast the following morning was very tasty & we had everything from yoghurt, fruit, cereals, a fry up & ground coffee & fresh butter. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyed. And it was so fab to hear the bull stating who's boss every now n then!! Defo recommended!!

My wife and I are currently walking the John Muur Way and spent this past Wednesday night at the Allanfauld Farm. It’s the nicest B and B we have ever stayed at. The innkeeper Libby was kind enough to pick us up at The Boathouse in Aucinstarry and bring us to the farm. She showed us to the our cabin which was just like a little home. It was very comfortable and included a stove,refrigerator,coffee maker and a sink. The beds were very comfortable and even though it poured rain most of the night we got a sound sleep Libby was kind enough to drive us to The Coachmen for dinner and she also picked us up. The following morning she cooked us an outstanding breakfast and drove us back to the trailhead. I would highly recommend the Allanfauld and would return if we were ever in the area

We really enjoyed our three-day stay. Libby was a charming and generous hostess, and we loved our comfortable and large room. The view from our room to the south was a pleasure, whatever the weather. ||We’ll definitely be back.
