We had a wonderful stay. Liz and the family were great. The walk around the pond which is only steps away was beautiful. The room and private bathroom were very neat. Breakfast was delicious. Thanks for making our tour of Scotland memorable.

Bed was comfortable, Liz was welcoming and the breakfast was great! My bathroom was not attached, but next door and I didn’t have to share. Large TV to binge watch Outlander at night. This house is new and very clean and nicely decorated. I had Easy parking, the Duck Pond is a great. Town is quiet so you may have to go five miles or so for food with only one acceptable restaurant in town which is very small and needs to be prebooked. The only real things to do in Doune are the Castle (.7 miles from house) and a distillery which I am sad to have missed because it has good reviews.

Firstly I have to say that Liz is lovely and welcoming. I was working in Callander and the B&B was a short 20 minutes away by bus. The room and adjoining ensuite were immaculate and tastefully decorated and the room had some extra home comforts such as a selection of fruit teas, Apple TV and even a brilliant bookcase to suit all tastes. I'm not a breakfast person but Liz was very accomdating and my early start was no problem. All in all this is by far one of the best places I have stayed and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it. I thourghly advise a wee walk round the duck ponds if you can that are just across the road from the B&B

Liz and her family were wonderful. We enjoyed our stay so much. This was the first place we stayed in Scotland and it was perfect. The pond is very near the B&B and I enjoyed my walk and took some really nice pictures.

We stop off here regularly on long trips. A great place to walk the dog and eat a picnic. If it's raining, the tree cover means you won't get too wet. Each time we visit, the paths have been improved and extended. No need to wear wellies now! This is a wonderful facility for the people of Doune to have on their doorstep. Better than many municipal parks. No toilets or refreshments (yet?) but it's only a short walk into the village, where you won't be disappointed.

This is a modern B&B in the lovely town of Doune near Stirling, Callendar and the beautiful Highlands. |The accommodation is immaculate and the bed one of the comfiest I have slept in. |Your hostess Liz is very hospitable and I believe would do as much as possible to make your stay comfortable. Her breakfast was lovely. |Very good value for money and a pleasant stay. |Only negative is do not follow sat nav directions, follow the ones Liz sends or use the street name not postcode!

I travel a lot for work and was looking for somewhere reasonably priced to rest half way through a journey. ||Liz is a lovely host. The house is lovely and the room I stayed in is so clean and cosy. The double bed is gorgeous and the en suite bathroom is clean and spacious. TV is fab and there is free wifi. It is nice and quiet here and a great place to relax and rest. Tea and coffee making facilities too. I am really impressed and will definitely stay again. Thank you for a perfect stay.
