After a four night stay, West Plean House is now at the top of our list of favourite B&Bs. It is sparkling clean, comfortable and surrounded by beautiful, extensive gardens. Hannah, the host, is warm, friendly and has a focus on personal service and making guests feel welcome. Breakfasts are generous, offering a wide range of choices, and Hannah is happy to accommodate special dietary requirements. In addition to the elegantly furnished garden-view bedrooms, guests also have access to a large and comfortable sitting room. There is plenty of parking available. |The location is excellent, with attractions such as Stirling Castle, the Battle of Bannockburn Visitor Centre, Hopetoun House, the Wallace Monument, the House of the Binns, and distilleries within easy driving distance. |For Outlander fans, Doune Castle, Midhope Castle, Deanston Distillery and the Royal Burgh of Culross are also within easy driving distance. Hopetoun House also has a number of Outlander filming locations. |We loved our stay and wholeheartedly recommend travellers to give themselves a treat and let Hannah look after you at West Plean House.

We stayed at the West Plean House during our final three nights in Scotland while visiting Stirling. Hannah and Nicol were great hosts. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Great breakfasts made to order. Location was great. A short drive to town and the other local sights but away from the crowds and noise of central Stirling. It was also a relatively easy and short drive to the Edinburgh airport on our final morning. Highly recommended.

Lovely house and grounds for lodging, nicely maintained, very clean and cozy. Very welcoming, friendly, and helpful hosts. Every convenience was provided for a comfortable stay for the three of us and the breakfast was delicious, substantial. I would highly recommend staying here if you are near the Stirling area.

An amazing B and B! Hannah, Nicol, Finlay and Molly the dog were perfect hosts. Our room could not be faulted, the breakfasts were scrumptious and every restaurant suggestion we were given was fantastic. The grounds were beautiful (especially the daffodils) and the guest lounge was also a lovely place to relax. |It was also amazing to have the pleasure of visiting a house so full of my family history!||We will be back again

What can I say other than excellent. Hannah and Nicol were fantastic hosts. My wife, Maureen and I were going to a 60th celebration in nearby Cowie and were looking for somewhere to stay. We couldn’t have picked a better place. Stunning house in stunning grounds, felt we were living on a country estate. Our room was fantastic’Birch’. Breakfast was awesome, I had homemade porridge followed by a full Scottish breakfast and homemade bread. Maureen had cereal and the full Scottish. Made so welcome and Hannah took such an interest in us, personal touch goes a long way to ensuring our short but most enjoyable stay was superb. We would thoroughly recommend West Plean House and if ever visiting Stirling again I know where we will be staying. Thank you Hannah and Nicol.||David and Maureen

This is such a lovely B&B. Hannah is a gracious hostess, and the accommodations are just perfect. Beautiful grounds, cozy and comfortable rooms with everything you need and more. The breakfast was amazing, with fresh, locally sourced foods, prepared just for you. I cannot recommend West Plean House enough!
