Liked: Very friendly welcome on arrival and helpful staff during the stay. Reception area has a small shop and coffee area. Stayed in Hare pod , touring and pods are set a fairly large square area with a kids play park in the middle. Not that busy during my stay. Facilities block , very clean , usual toilets, showers, pot wash, plenty of hot water. Grass areas in between pitches. Water tap close to pod. Nice views . Quite site. Outside picnic table next to pod. Pod was perfect for me and my trusty dog. Fixed double and single bed. Kitchen cupboard and worktop, very useful. Kettle,heater and fridge provided ( which I feel would be more user friendly if on a unit and not on the floor ). Bed was comfy. Good area of The Trossachs to stay and explore. Great bakery in Aberfoyle which was recommended by another guest. All round good stay.

Disliked: Having to leave.

We had a glamping pod the bed was super comfy everything was clean. |The staff were amazing, friendly really easy to talk too and very helpful. |The place itself is absolutely stunning the views are beautiful. Plenty of walks to go on and the surrounding towns are steeped in our Scottish history. |On the recommendation of staff wee went to the black bull the food was delicious and again staff are really friendly.

I am writing this review halfway through our stay to see if it facilities change.
We are staying in our touring caravan (my wife and 2 teenagers)
The site itself is nice and clean. The toilets look well maintained and are shut between 8:45 and 9:30 each morning for cleaning.
This would normally not be an issue as my wife and both children like to sleep in to 10am when on holiday.
Unfortunately we have been woken at 8:30 each day to the sound of strimming and plant machine diesel engines with the occasional reverse buzzer thrown in.
Unfortunately, I am of an age where I need the toilet when I wake up so, I have 15 minutes to get up and beat the cleaners.
The work seems to continue into the early evening.
The toilets are on a 2 minute light timer. This is fine except the first sensor is faulty. This means it does not find you when your sitting on the toilet.
The sensors are positioned in such a way that they can not see you when your in the shower. That's OK because the water turns itself off every 30 seconds anyway.
On the plus side. The site is handy for adventure activities down the lane (why we booked it) and lots of things to do in the area.
So in conclusion, if you wake before 8:30, don't mind the constant building site rumble, can poo and shower at Olympic speed and can get up and out to the toilet when the industrial alarm clock goes off then this site is for you.
This would be so much better if noise didn't start till 10am, the showers and lights stayed on longer and the faulty sensor was replaced.

Liked: Lovely well maintained holiday park. Reception staff really friendly and helpful, as this was my first time camping solo was a bit nervous but had a lovely night and the other guests were lovely as well. Toilet and shower block was spotless. Weather too hot (27°) to go exploring but some lovely walks that I'd def try next time.

Disliked: Electric hookup was a bit patchy but other people's did get fixed so might have been my cable. Didn't really miss it as only staying one night.

Liked: Warm welcome form check in to checkout! Very nice quiet place, great location! Very tidy shower and toilets. Our pod was cozy, clean and warm to sleep (had heater too if needed). Overall, great stay and will certainly return.

Disliked: This experience was mis-sold. We booked this because the forecast was for rain and the site claimed to have a games room. We even confirmed this with a salesman on the phone. However when we arrived we were told that the games room was closed for repair. Had we been told this before we booked we would have gone to a cheaper site

Came with the family for a short stay and it was peaceful and stunning. The shop was stocked with essentials and park was so clean and well kept even the toilet block was clean. A huge thank you also to the couple Kim and Matt who were so helpful and full of local knowledge about things to do and where to take the kids, we can't wait to come again, many thanks.
