Great place to stop over on our way north. Convenient for Kelso town and shops.
The room was clean, warm and comfy. Was advertised as continental breakfast which we were more than happy with. Yoghurt, selection of cereals, toast and jam, croissants and a nice surprise eggs. Had to cook the eggs ourselves but that was no hardship. A big thank you to our hosts. Would highly recommend.

This B & B is a gem. Janet greeted us as a friend. The spotless garage fronts the bedroom and was used as a store for our cases. The bed was so comfortable and the area quiet. Across the garden is the spacious extra room for breakfast; TV reading etc. Fresh milk in the fridge for tea/coffee and great breakfast. All we needed and more. We hope Allan won his match!

What a fabulous B&B. Spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. Lovely touches in the room such as fresh flowers, full size teapot and mugs tasty goodies as well as wine glasses. The extra games/tv/kitchen room was just an added bonus and made us feel like we were in a cottage. The continental breakfast was delicious. Janet and Allan are perfect hosts, helpful and friendly. Ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland. Only an hours drive from Edinburgh too. Will definitely be returning as it was so perfect

Stayed here for 1 night during a cycling tour with my brother, what a fantastic stop over the hosts were very helpful and kind, we arrived in a rain storm and were very wet, we were shown into the garage which has a link door into the room where we were staying, striped off and showered, all our clothes went into the dryer. The room is excellent, breakfast was left out for us in the games/cinema room. Top class, could not find any fault with the facilities or hosts

What a find! My husband was thrilled with the secure parking of our motorcycle in the owner’s garage which led straight into our room. This meant we could unpack and pack with ease. The room was super clean and well-equipped with toiletries. The bed was massive! There is the added bonus of a games room, located in the garden, for guests to use. Breakfast is taken there - this is a big room with a full-size snooker table, darts board, tv and lounge & kitchen area. Owners are so friendly and knowledgable. Thoroughly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay here - it was amazing. Allan and Janet could not have done more to make sure that we had everything we needed. The bedroom was immaculately clean and very comfortable, and the self-contained recreation room had everything you could want for a relaxing stay: snooker table, darts board, tv/video, books and games, not to mention a first-rate breakfast next day. After a long walk from Melrose, this was as welcome as an oasis in the desert. Brilliant!

This is a fabulous find. A luxury hotel room in a residential location. Room was gorgeous, hosts fantastic and welcoming not only to us but to our friends as well. Their snooker, breakfast, and evening room was superb. If we are back in Kelso this is where we will stay.

The room was beautiful. Lovely and clean with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast/games room is a lovely relaxing space and the breakfast provided was delicious. Allan and Janet were very friendly and welcoming and we will definitely stay here again.
