The Bakehouse is a bakers not a hotel, best éclairs in the Borders, fruit slice and vanilla slice v good too.
Breakfast and lunch deals well worth it.
My savoury fav is their cornish pasty another really good reason to visit the shops in Kelso or Earlston.

Amazing bakery............

Staff are very friendly and full of smiles nothing worse than poor staff .

The variety in store was amazing , there home made bakes are superb , I had some of there home made spicy parsnip soup 🍲 and it was the best soup I've ever had . Home made scone Rock cakes are out of this world . Well done bake House

Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent scotch pies and my wife says that the macaroni pies are better than her home made ones. Lots of filling and lovely Scottish cheddar.

Good hot and cold sandwiches, the minestrone soup went down well also. Prices reasonable.
Very clean inside. The proprietor was friendly and very covid aware. Just spoilt by the two maskless ladies who strolled in when it clearly states on the outside sign "no more than two in this shop at any one time".

The best bakehouse on the area, bar none.
The staff are excellent, the food is great, the choice is amazing and best o all the prices are very reasonable.
It's a place working people go for a good breakfast or something for lunch.
