Great location, in the heart of Bourton on the Water. Drinks outside, reasonable choice of beer. Ate two nights in the restaurant. Limited choice, but friendly staff and good service. Parking available at the back, drive through the tunnel!

Great pub accommodation, rooms are okay but location is outstanding. There is a car park that is first in first served, other parking is available nearby. There is food and drink available on site and other options just out of the front door. Recommended stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fabulous hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the attentive staff and made to feel right at home. The impeccable service and attention to detail truly made my stay memorable.
One standout aspect of my experience was the exceptional management by Ricardo. His leadership skills were evident in the smooth operation of the hotel and the high level of professionalism displayed by the entire team. Ricardo was always accessible, approachable, and went above and beyond to ensure that guests like myself had a wonderful stay.
Every interaction with the staff was pleasant and efficient. I was particularly impressed by the proactive approach to guest satisfaction by the team.
Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel enough, thanks in large part to Ricardo's excellent management. I left feeling truly valued as a guest and will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you to Ricardo and the entire team for a truly exceptional experience!

Vile food. Ordered the steak sandwich x2 and it came with overcooked steak, cream cheese and nothing else. It was bland, chewy and dry. Raised this with a member of staff called Christina, who I understand is not her fault directly but her dismissive and uninterested service did not aid the situation. She disappeared for 15 minutes then returned to say we were lying, and the chefs had included melted cheese and crispy red onions despite seeing a photo of it herself.

As you can see, they did not.

Must add that the girl serving behind the bar was lovely. However the way they dealt with our query over the misleading food was appalling.

It was a complete disaster. I stayed in room nr 4, it had mould on the walls and a terrible stench. The bed would take the shape of a boat as soon as I sat on it. The restaurant was another disappointment, I ordered salmon, macaroni cheese and fries. First I wasn't aware that my fish would be drenched in some white sauce and overcooked, I ordered again but without the sauce, this time the fish was raw in the middle. Macaroni cheese had no cheese in it and fries were undercooked. I've wasted 28£. I tried sorting it out but some lady told me to wait for the manager and.....well nobody came back to me.

It breaks my heart to write this review because this small pub is in the heart of one iconic places in Cotswold, Bourton on the Water.
The food I guess has nothing to do with the preparation but the cuisine as a whole. Its’s bland and lacks flavour profile. Well, I guess I have to stop here!

Made a reservation to eat at 9pm available at the website. Booking was confirmed. Once I made it there, the receptionist told us they would not serve us despite the booking. Horrible experience

Traditional Cotswold Inn in a central village location right beside the picturesque Windrush River.
Extensive menu of traditional pub classics with vegetarian and vegan options plus separate kids menu. Dogs welcome throughout.
Rooms basic but spotlessly clean and comfortable with plenty amenities.
Staff friendly and helpful.
I would definitely recommend a visit and will be returning very soon
