Pointless having a post office when the staff (three working at the time) can’t be bothered to open it - Tesco why not just close the service completely?

Reasonable variety of goods for the size of store . Staff are super friendly and helpful. The only major downside is the car park which at times is too small, especially if they have a lorry delivering, fir which they cone off half the spaces. Also signal in the shop is non-existent which makes using the club card app a pain.

I've been using the Post Office counter at Tesco Express in Clifton regularly over recent months as a really convenient option for sending items through the post when my local post office nearby is closed. The opening hours are much longer than in Shefford. I have read the other reviews on here and I must say that the staff members who have served me are absolutely amazing! They are friendly, efficient, helpful and really cheerful (despite having to deal with multiple issues like post office, counter service, self service tills, stacking shelves, Costa machine etc etc!) I also use the plastic recycling bin that is just beside the door and one of the staff asked me today how I found it and how glad they are that it is being used. I cannot recommend this shop and its staff more highly. I don't often buy food there but what I have bought is fine and lastly, the range of greetings cards is absolutely gorgeous too!! 10/10

Must say it is convenient, albeit expensive sometimes. Please cheer up. They could do with having customer service training from Luca, the only one who’s always friendly, cheerful and inviting.

Fantastic staff! I went in on crutches today due to a knee injury and a very kind member of staff took my items to the checkout and then carried them to my car for me! Absolutely fantastic service above and beyond! Thank you!

I want to let you know how poorly Tesco Clifton Bedfordshires post office is performing. I went in on Saturday and the poor guy behind the counter was trying to serve at the post office and the shop on his own. I needed to send my packages tracked and signed and there were no slips available. Ryan spent the next 20 minutes looking for them and phoning somebody to help find them. They didn't have any and I had to pay extra money for a different service rather than miss the post. During the time of waiting, the post office queue reached the back of the shop and various customers were shouting at me asking if the staff knew I was waiting. This was really embarrassing but even worse for Ryan who was stressed beyond reason at this point with no help from staff and a compete absence of management. I left feeling that I had had an extremely uncomfortable experience in the shop and couldn't wait to get out
I went back in on Monday and the post office was closed. I was told that the system was down and sent to a neighbouring village. At that post office the manager said that the system down was a lie as theirs was working and they were connected, she also intimated that this happened regularly.
For whatever the reason it was closed, I would rather know the truth. I have tried to ring the store to speak to a manager countless number of times since Monday and nobody even picks up the phone.
I look forward to receiving your comments and an improvement in the service offered.
