Me and my husband got married here on the 13th September and well there was a lot of issues |Function rooms had the tables for the wedding breakfast set up ready for us to decorate which was perfect but then we noticed the floors were filthy old confetti all over and dirty rings where glasses were placed on the window sills and not cleaned. There was also food and dead flies in all of the windows. Hand prints on the mirrors and windows.| We had spoken to one of the staff at the hotel named Paddy and he had said the room had already been cleaned and he will write it on their WhatsApp chat for it to be done that night too also apologies. ||The morning of the wedding my bridal party had gone down to check the room was cleaned and well it hadn’t been still a mess. The bridal party spoke to a male manager which was very rude and basically told them it won’t get done until the last minute which caused a lot of stress. |My cake was promised on the day of the wedding by again Paddy that he would wrap up what was left as it was a lot, for me to collect the next day this didn’t happen. When I questioned it I was told one of my guests has taken the whole cake with them. This was proved not to have happened.||A room that I had paid for had a horrible smell so the bridesmaid ended up sleeping in the honeymoon room with us. This is not ideal at all ||. Rolls for the bbq were solid and I complained about this at the time for him only to replace my roll and no one else’s. I then asked for them all to be replaced but by the time they come out most people had already eaten. ||. The desserts that I had brought in were stored in a cellar not a fridge which I know from working in a pub that the cellar isn’t cold enough to store cream cakes! I had to sign a waiver to take responsibility for this but yet your company didn’t store them correctly. They should have been stored below the legal requirements of 5 degrees when a cellar is averaged at about 11 degrees. ||A staff member also accused one of my guests of leaving without paying. He booked his stay through booking.com |And still shouldn’t have been spoken about with me as this is GDPR and was not booked through the wedding. I had to call him after this to find out what was going on for the staff member. This is unprofessional and should have been dealt with by hotel staff only ||. Being a wedding I would've thought the bar would've been staffed. There was approximately 7 people waiting and repeatedly ringing the bell . A man finally came out and snapped you need to use the function bar. we all went down there and Paddy said it wasn't open yet . We let him know the whole wedding party was on their way and he kindly looked after everyone. People were grumbling and complaining at this point after waiting at the other bar for so long.||Service was awful as there really wasn't any ! We were eating desserts with all the dirty main plates still on our tables. This is basic service ! same with used glasses. Totally unacceptable service ! Very embarrassing as I was going to clear the room myself as people were complaining! We should've been enjoying ourselves not worrying about our guests complaining ! ||Head office also stated this in one of the emails which I think is appalling “I would like to make you aware that any purposeful attempt to damage the Leigh Park Hotels reputation, via social media or other forms of media such as review websites with anything but comments based on actual facts and events will need to be fully investigated by our legal representation to ensure the comments are factual and true and not solely an attempt to damage the hotels reputation.”||If I knew this was going to be the way I was treated after the wedding I would not have booked this hotel nor would I suggest anyone else to book.

A review of the hotel and our room - Room 45.||||My partner and I stayed at the Leigh Park Country House Hotel & Vineyard on 12-13 October 2024. When we arrived, we were asked to pay for the room immediately. I then asked if there was room service breakfast and was told that there was. However, when we got to the room (number 45), there was no room service menu. You should also note that there is NO lift and no bell boy/man to assist with cases - we had to carry two cases up to the second floor, ourselves.||||Then... we noted there were a large number of flies on the window of the bedroom (inside). These were live flies, which we promptly disposed of. However, within an hour, more appeared. I had already asked if a room upgrade was available for our stay (before we arrived) and was told that the hotel was fully booked, so an upgrade or alternative room was not available.||||The room in general was VERY grubby, with multiple scuffs and scrapes on the walls. The carpet was heavily stained!||||On the first night (Friday) we had a table booked for 7.30 and went to the bar before hand. We had to ring a bell for attendance, which was ok - the "barman," a young lad called James, was attentive and had a good sense of humour. It transpired, however, that James was also the waiter in the restaurant, which was rather empty , with no atmosphere - A Cd of 1980's music playing in the background. the food was nice.||||On Saturday night, we returned to our room (we had asked for the room to be serviced - this is an option it seems - and immediately noticed that the floor had not been cleaned (multiple dead flies still on the stained carpet). There were also even more live flies buzzing around the room! It took an hour to dispatch them all.||||We went to the restaurant again - we had a table booked for 8 pm, as we were told that they could not accommodate a booking at 7.30 pm. We once again went to the bar, rang the bell and waited... and waited until eventually a girl from the front desk came and made our drinks. She then returned to the front desk, telling us she would be there if we needed another drink.....||||We sat in the bar area - it was SO quiet, no one was to be seen and we saw no staff, at all. It felt utterly deserted. We actually felt rather abandoned.||||At 7.50, we decided to make ourselves known again and were told we could pick any table in the restaurant (it was empty), so we were not sure why our 7.30 request was denied. The food was nice and we were served, once again by James.||||Upon checking out, the girl at the desk asked if everything was ok, to which we responded with the list of complaints that we had. She responded in a less than caring manner, looking more at her screen, than us. Telling us she would give us an email address to write to if we wanted!||||Overall comments:||||The place is dirty, run down with too few staff.||There is no loner a vineyard.||The staff are not very smartly dressed -(no uniform). James (who is leaving in two weeks - good on you), was the ONLY saving grace of this place. He was attentive, engaging, professional and entertaining.||||We called this place Faulty Towers and certainly would not return....

Had our Wedding day yesterday 26th October and what can I say. Absolutely perfect from start to finish. Nothing was to much trouble, everything we asked for was done. The ceremony was perfect, food was amazing. I would like to thank Tabitha, Scott and Peter and the rest of the team for making our day perfect.

We loved our stay at the Leigh Park Country House Hotel!! This was our first time (we are from the US) England and this hotel was a breath of fresh air after being in London for a few days (even though we liked London there was just so many people). We decided to stay here because it was near Stonehenge, Warminster, and Bath. We were meeting a distant relative of mine whose husband does research for people on Ancestry, and our meeting place was Warminster where my Grandfather lived. Our room was beautiful with a 4-poster bed and big picture windows with beautiful picturesque views! The bed was super comfortable and the room was large. When we arrived we were pretty tired and hungry so we went directly to the bar and outside patio after we checked in. Great staff -- especially Peter (the jack of all trades!!)! He made sure we were satisfied with our rooms, brought our luggage up the stairs, and there he was again, making our drinks at the bar!! Also to note, there was a wedding scheduled for Saturday and the wedding party arrived the night we arrived. I was afraid it would be too noisy for us to sleep, but it was quiet by 11:00 p.m. Love, love, love this hotel!! My only regret is that we didn't have enough time to check out the cute town of Bradford-on-Avon; although we did have a wonderful Italian dinner there at Ravello's! Would definitely come again!

This hotel is situated in a Tudor house. A beautiful building with fantastic views over the countryside. We stayed 3 nights and were sorely disappointed to find that our room was not cleaned in all the time we were there. Given that the room, though comfortable, was covered in dead flies and cobwebs cleaning should have been of great priority. The restaurant was lovely with views over the lawn and countryside. The food was well presented, a feast for the eye. What let it down was that the restaurant is a conservatory which has rattan roof blinds. Above and caught in the blinds were thousands of flies and other insect life. So much so that the bottom of the blinds were sagging with the weight! The windows around were also covered in cobwebs and dead flies. This was not conducive to relaxed dining. The hotel should really employ a deep cleaning company before they’re sued by guests who have had extra protein in their food!|Our room was in the coach house across the path from the function suite. In 2 nights there were weddings which meant no sleep or peace until well after midnight due to the thud, thud, thud of the music and people shouting and screaming outside our window whilst they smoked which meant the surrounding area was used as a giant ashtray!|All in all this hotel though well situated was a let down and we will not be back!

We travelled up for a family friends wedding, and I must say the wedding was fantastic and the food delicious. ||However if given the choice I’d have stayed in a different hotel. The only positive I can give you (other than the wedding) is we were located almost across the hall to the wedding room. ||We arrived and we had issues with the payments/ reservations. |I don’t recommend booking more than 1 room because they can’t seem to handle it. ||The room was dirty, the shower had mould and hadn’t been cleaned in a long time if ever. A telephone/ internet socket was broken and we had a toddler in the room with us, so wasn’t ideal. |Lots of dust etc on the carpets, we were walking around and noticed the bottoms of our feet were orange from the lack of cleanliness. |My wife wanted a cup of tea but couldn’t due to the amount of lime scale in the kettle it was sadly declined. ||Staff were nice enough but didn’t really make much effort to help us, they did fix a couple of bits but they seemed to have a slogan “we wouldn’t know of these issues if you hadn’t let us know” surely it’s there job to know.

Tabitha and the team were fantastic through out the whole journey. They provided us with our dream wedding. ||Scott, Cindy, Peter and Tabitha (apologies for not remembering every one name) were attentive and great with helping us with fine detail on the day and couldnt of made it easier for us.||We were so happy with the overall day, we would highly recommend Leigh Park as a fabolous venue for anybodys wedding. ||We had a informal bbq for our wedding breakfast, with a lot of choices, which they were happy to alter/add to the menu to suit. ||Tabitha was patient at listening to what we wanted and had very execution/plan/ideas before and on the day which made us at ease. ||We now have these beautiful memories to treasure forever.||Thank you Tabitha and the Team ||

I have been at the Leigh Park Country House Hotel for two nights. The room was beautiful, cozy, cute, old style, nice bathroom with shower. We had dinner at the restaurant, and the food was very nice, the lamb was great, and the Milanese chicken was also very tasteful. Good wine and dessert as well! Great view and breakfast. The staff has been also really kind and helpful! Highly recommended !
