Stayed for 2 nights in October for my Birthday treat.|We had booked a superior room and was happily surprised when we arrived to find we had been upgraded to the apartment ☺️|Everything was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were fantastic. |We slept brilliantly even though the mattress on the bed was a little soft for our liking. But that didn't spoil our stay one bit. |The Pub/Restaurant area again was spotlessly clean and very well furnished and decorated and had a lovely ambience.|We had Breakfast and evening Meals there on both days, and the food was all cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. |The only tiny negative was, my Husband likes his Ales and there was only 2 of them on draught, both were Amber Ales and were very similar, he would have liked to have seen a lighter Golden Ale on for more choice! Just personal preference.|All the staff there were amazing and friendly and very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. |We would highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again when we are next in that area.|Thank you to All Staff at The Old House at Home. You're all doing an awesome job.|Oh and Thank You for the free Birthday Prosecco ?

We stayed here for a night whilst visiting Bath. A lovely little place to stay with friendly staff, clean accommodation and decent food - excellent value for money too!

Only recommendations would be that the apartment we stayed in needs a bit of updating through decoration and parking was tight. Other than that, I highly recommend!

We live locally so no experience of the rooms but food and service were really very good. It's clear that the chef has a proper background and is able to deliver an excellent, varied menu. It's a tricky area to deliver good food and attract an appreciative clientele but we will do our best to support them and spread the word. Well done, they deserve success.

Very nice pub to spend the night, spacious room well appointed with large bathroom and great shower. The pub offered a good menu too and the wines and beers on offer were great. The staff were lovely too. The breakfast was good but we would have liked tea and juice options.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The pre-dinner cocktails were outstanding!
The lighting could have been brighter for five people (maybe two candles on the table instead of one?).
The food took a little longer than expected (the restaurant was not busy, and the gap between starters and mains was too long).
The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times.

This is a hidden gem!! My friend and I last minute booked a room for the night and were not disappointed. I would come back to the area just to stay here again! It is a quick 7 minute drive to Castle Combe (the cutest little town that is perfect for a morning walk). Tyler who checked us in could not have been more accommodating. As someone who consumes far too much caffeine and tries 2-3 new coffee shops a day when traveling, he made one of the best sugar free vanilla lattes I have ever had. The room was clean, had ample amenities, and the building was easy to find. It is a picturesque cottage inn feel that you hope for when staying in the countryside. You will not be disappointed by your stay!

A beautifully presented pub/restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. The menu had been given a lot of thought with some wonderful sounding dishes. The food was faultless and the staff were extremely polite and friendly. I will definitely visit again and can highly recommend this place.

Food was reasonable, had the duck but hardly any duck in the dish. We thought it was really expensive for what we had. Didn’t stay for desert as it was so cold and couldn’t understand why no fire lit, other customers also sat around in coats ! Serving team were good.
