Had a lovely breakfast here today. I never knew it was there but will definitely be coming back.
It's a dog friendly place with seating inside and out.
The only "bad" thing that I could say was there was quite a wait for food and we had finished our coffee a long time before it came. This may be due to being busy inside but I can't say for sure as we were the only ones outside.
Having said all this it wouldn't put me off going again I would just go that little bit earlier.

I just went in to have a look because it appeared so inviting...and didn't want to leave. I just had a cup of herbal tea but plan to go back soon and try something off the menu.

This place is a haven in a town that's a calm refuge. You need to go there

My family and I were visiting from LA. Very cute restaurant that grows it's own tomatoes. I got the British breakfast smaller size. Filled me up for a long time. The restaurant has a nice garden. Relaxing and delicious.

Could have been so much better. Nice garden, food was good but the wait was far too long (40 minutes when we were the only customers), and for Pete's sake serve the toast at the same time as the breakfast, not 10 minutes later!

Sold me stale Croissants. Popped in recently and saw that they sell artisan croissants and pain-au-chocolate (Bertinet I think). Came back this morning at opening to take-away and have at home for breakfast. When I got home I found them to be rock hard and inedible, clearly a couple of days old. If you pay £6.50 for 2 croissants you don't expect to get stale food. Thing is the guy who served me would have known they were stale when he boxed them, but sold them anyway. We like to support local businesses so it's really sad that we won't be coming back anytime soon.

Lovely coffee, super busy this morning. I don’t mind a short wait for food when it’s all cooked from scratch and there aren’t many cafes where the black pudding is genuine Stornaway black pudding. Lovely friendly team, all fairly new, but doing a great job. Only been open a few months. Loads of games and toys for kids, friendly welcoming atmos and dogs welcome too. What’s not to like! Oh and Bertinet pastries to boot ?

We were excited to find a cafe after a long walk. People and dog friendly - good cup of tea. We ordered cream tea - but unfortunately the worst scone I’ve ever had. Clearly several days old as had the dry consistency of a biscuit. The jam was so watery it fell off the scone and with no fruit. Please make fresh scones every day or freeze what you don’t use.

Sat for 1.5 hours, for food that never came. Order lost somewhere. See this happens with some regularity looking back at the reviews. Staff refunded the money and apologised.
