A great group to attend. I've witnessed new attendees bloom as they settle into this weekly group. I've also experienced it myself. Friendly, welcoming, and diverse at it's core.

I used to be a member of Tees Valley buddies but decided leave because of the atmosphere in the group especially one morning when the CEO was arguing with an ex volunteer in the cafe in front of other members and members of the public The charity isn’t welcoming towards people aged 50 and if a member tries other groups like I have they don’t like it. I wouldn’t recommend this group to other people after my experience

I joined Tees Valley buddies to help me make friends but after two years of being a member of the group I realised that Tees Valley buddies wasn’t right for me The walk on a Thursday morning was something to look forward to They say they are a friendly welcoming group but this isn’t the case they have removed a few members from the charity

I wouldn’t recommend this charity to anyone else especially neurodivergent older people
They are not very welcoming And they don’t work in a professional manner

I found Tees Valley Buddies a few months ago after realising that I was neurodiverse and reaching out over a local Facebook group for information about local support groups. Tees valley buddies is the first group I've ever joined where I immediately felt comfortable and felt I actually fitted in. It's been amazing to meet so many like minded people and be able to shy my true self without feeling uncomfortable about displaying neurodiverse traits. At age 34 I've finally found a community where I feel I fit. I look forward to seeing the charity grow as more people find out about it.

An excellent organisation supporting neurodiversity . I am dyspraxic. They put a smile on your face, arranging walks and events bringing people together. They are very passionate. They deserves awards on the commendable work they do. We need very caring and hard working organisations like this. The CEO is a very nice person. She has a great team.

Before finding this charity I really struggled with socialising and finding friends. Now I’ve made many friends and I’m starting to understand more about myself and my neurodiversity. Thank you Tees Valley Buddies.
