It was our 1st visit in Inverness, we're trying to find place for dinner but most of them were reserved for big groups of tourists so we decided to go to River Grill. Food was surprisingly good and tasty 😋 Waiter was asking all the time if everything is ok , do we need anything else.

Absolutely recommend River Grill! The service was extremely quick and the food was great! (Our table had the fish and chips, soup, and a grilled chicken salad- all delicious and fresh!)
The owner, Hamdin, was very attentive, and was very good about checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed.
The chef, Tufel, accommodated our requests with our order, and the food was delicious!!
Our group appreciated the hospitality and how friendly the entire staff was. We will be back for more meals soon!

I love the boss there who is really kind to the customers. And the most important is that the food there tastes good and the portions are generous. When we about to leave, the boss also gave us a free beer to celebrate where we were from.

While taking a walk around Inverness, we decided to stop in River Grill for a late dinner. All three of us were impressed with the service and the food. We ordered a sea bass dish, a chicken dish, and pizza. The presentation was impressive and all were delicious. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. 5 stars in every category.

We had an amazing experience at the River Grill in Inverness for dinner. Hamdin and the staff greeted us like old friends even though they had never met us, and Chef Tufau cooked us stunning dishes with large portions. We had the Chicken and Lamb Shish mixed and the Penne Con Pollo. I highly recommend stopping in when you can.

PLEASE READ!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

First day in Inverness and we were looking for an early dinner before we spent the rest of the night exploring the city. Unknowingly, we chose the worst restaurant in the city. To begin, we had to flag down the waiter multiple times to get their attention. Secondly, the waiter smelled like the moldy buns they serve on their burgers. Last but certainly not least, I had ordered the fish and chips and to my unfortunate surprise there were hundreds of bones in the fish. I took a bite and was stabbed in the top of the mouth by a fish bone. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

This place is amazing.My friend and I had the Salmon and grilled vegetables. Best meal I have had in Scotland. HAMDIN and our waiter and also Chef tufal were amazing
