Stayed here with my dad during, and this was probably my best stay at any bed & breakfast that I had ever experienced. I simply felt at home, which is more than I could have asked for. The owner was also really friendly! (Another plus: the ingredients of the breakfast are mostly locally or self produced, and it tasted really nice).

This is our 3rd visit to Pickwick. We love it here. Jill, the host is lovely and very helpful. The breakfast is delicious and freshly sourced produce. Already planning our next visit. The location is a farmhouse and off the beaten track, so very quiet.

The best B&B I have ever visited and puts hotels to shame.||The rooms were beautiful decorated and the location is perfect. It gives the opportunity to visit a British working farm.||Breakfast was served to your requirement. The table is beautifully decorated and gives the opportunity to meet other guests. ||All food is freshly cooked and local sourced. The bread is freshly baked and butter is local. We stayed 1 night but I guess it would be good to spend time walking around country side.

Probably the best B&B ever visited. The host was super kind. The rooms were great. The location is just perfect, in the middle of the British countries. Breakfast was amazing. Cooked and served by the host. Fruits and yogurt super fresh. All food was local sourced. Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night but I guess it would be perfect to spend at least 2 or 3 days and enjoy the quietness of the country side. We felt like at home.

What a beautiful house in such a picturesque location. The rooms were top quality and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was plentiful with so many choices.
Last but certainly not least was Gill, such a wonderful host and very friendly. Stayed at a few B&Bs and this one is certainly one of the best.

Quiet and isolated group of buildings steeped in history well off the beaten track. Excellent and comfortable room. Helpful and agreeable hostess. We particularly liked the communal table for breakfast, giving us the opportunity to chat with the other guests. Well I suppose you could sit at one end and avoid them if you are so disposed! We'll be back if we can.

We chose to stay at Pickwick Lodge farm for our three days in Bath as cars are a liability when staying in the town centre. The bus into Bath stops at the end of the drive and there are buses into the centre every half an hour, so it suited us fine. Gill lets out three rooms in her farmhouse and we were treated as part of the family and given a key to the front door. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed and the breakfasts are the best that we have had in many a long year. The choice of food is amazing, cooked to order and all locally sourced. highly recommended!

We booked this B & B from Aust. We chose 3 rooms for 3 nights. What a beautiful cottage with lovely bright, fresh & clean rooms. Breakfast was scrumptious & table setting delightful. The ambience around the building was very romantic, quiet & cosy. When one of our party required a Doctor Gill went out of her way to assist us. We were very lucky to be able book an extra night. One of the couples were from a farming background so being a farm B & B allowed plenty of discussion with the farmer about cropping!!|Our hostess Gill was a lovely friendly accommodating lady. Thankyou Gill for going above & beyond for us. The 6 Aussies. xx
