Had a couple of nights stay and couldn't have been looked after better. The rooms are lovely and clean and smell so fresh the bed is so comfortable, and the bathroom is big and very clean. The breakfast was lovely and lots of choice and the young lady that looked after us was so nice and friendly. The kings is in the centre just a short stroll to the shops, it's in a perfect position. There is ample parking at the rear of the and free to use as long as you log your reg when you get into the King's.
So all I can say is thank you everyone for looking after us we would definitely stay with you again.

Thank you everyone for a great night last night at The King's Arms. We went to a quiz night, raising money for a local community building, currently being restored by and sited next to St Michael's and All Angels Church. The King's Arms Manager was on hand to welcome all of us and checked a couple of times that we were comfortable, if we needed anything. The staff were good at break times. The quiz master was so funny and the questions were varied, fun and not too difficult. Great atmosphere there, it was so good to see all ages, joined together, with family & friends and laughing so much.

The Kings Arms, quaint old style hotel. The room was dated but comfy and had everything one needs. The service was fantastic. The stairs were very steep to the room, but the help to get the luggage up was quickly offered and done with a smile. The food was great, the portions big and again the service was done efficiently and with a smile. The staff are all so friendly. It was a really nice experience and I recommend them.

Wonderful stay. Excellent service from start to finish. Room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, homely and warm. Breakfast was amazing wide varied choices plus Croissants and pain aux chocolate. As many coffees and juices as required. Took a 6 month old baby and a daushoud as well and all were extremely happy with the stay. Didn’t eat in restaurant so can’t comment, only didn’t eat because friends had booked near their home. Would definitely stay again!!! Staff were so friendly and lovely!!!

Loved the kings arms, the staff were fabulous. The breakfast was great with huge portions. The room was super comfortable and had everything one needs. I just found it a bit hard to reach and very narrow stairs. But again the staff were there in a flash to help.
There is parking and in a good location to "check out" the neighborhood. I recommend ?

Elegant, comfortable, LARGE courtyard room with its own lovely separate entrance/vestibule. Delicious breakfast. We also sampled one of the 'small plates' as a light lunch and it was perfect. Good location close to interesting small historical quarter (Church Walk, Canon Square) as well as new sports centre, swimming pool. For touring, one is within minutes of countryside, National Trust properties, quaint canals, etc. Couldn't have been better

The hotel is a lovely old pub, and the staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. The manager was hands-on and offered to help with whatever we needed. The room was clean, well equipped with an en-suite bathroom. The only thing missing were USB ports for charging cell phones

I booked my parents in for a meal at last minute. They were impressed by the amazing food, fabulous service and wonderful hospitality. I can’t comment on the rooms as they didn’t stay overnight. But the service that they had was second to none. We will be booking again! Highly recommended.
