Hotel was lovely! Staff were incredibly welcoming and couldn't do enough for us! Paul was especially brilliant and was a standout part of our stay.
The food was incredible, both our evening meal and the breakfast! Really nice place with an even better atmosphere, would 100% visit again.

The best experience. We hired out the private room for a wedding meal and it went incredible. The staff let me come up the night before to set up which was so lovely. The new staff were so friendly and funny and make this whole experience. They all helped to bring out the 19 meals and was on hand to help with all the drinks and everything. A brilliant team

This is a very welcoming Cotswold stone pub located on the cross roads in Old Sodbury. We stopped for Sunday lunch having booked a table in the. Dog Friendly Bar. (The dog friendly tag is genuine, with great cheap treats for pets!)
The vegan and vegetarian options were good and the roasts were excellent. Lots of other delicious choices too.Puddings were from a wide choice and all excellent. Staff were friendly and good and the experience was excellent. Value for money was good and we would happily return.
Rooms are available here as well.

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time here. On approach the hotel looked very inviting, old fashioned but had an extremely cosy feel to it. We were greeted by a friendly face amd provided with all the relevant information. The room was cosy, clean and the bed was very comfortable! The housekeepers provided us with plenty of tea and coffee each morning. Breakfast could of been a little better, they had no smoked salmon on all 3 mornings but it wasn't the end of the world. The waiter was extremely friendly and funny and knew his history of the area etc. All the staff who we saw seemed very nice. We weren't rushed, all very relaxed. We would happily stay here again. Thank-you for the hospitality.

We stayed at this hotel while trekking the Costwolds Way. The staff did everything to make our stay pleasant. They were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the wait staff attentive. The rooms were a mix bag. We had twelve in all. Some rooms were small but adequate, others were big and grand. Everyone had good bathrooms. Nobody was disappointed with their accommodations. The Cross Hands was a good hotel for our overnight stay.

Lovely pub. Staff are excellent, but don't expect the parent company manager to welcome you. They refuse to employ enough catering staff for walk-in customers.
Had to wait 2 hours for a meal.

The food was terrible. Meals came out separately so my partner had finished eating before mine arrived. Everything felt like it had been taken out of a packet as opposed to being made fresh. I would recommend staying away if you enjoy good food.
