Popped by today with our dog for a quick late lunch. Toasties & soup were so yummy. Coffee lovely too. Staff so friendly. My mum hasn't stopped raving about it - her ploughman's toasted cheese sandwich was delicious.

We visited the Bear and Bull today and was pleasantly surprised just how lovely this little gem is. The staff literally went above and beyond to cater for us and was really friendly. My father in law drinks bitter which they do not do in the bar however the lady went out of her way to go across the road to another bar to get him a pint, and again on another round, Thank You. Super staff, Family Friendly (Which is hard to find), they allow dogs too.
Thank you again for a lovely evening

Today, I did try the coffee but I know that it was very good last year. It is still a very pleasant bar/cafe with free Wifi and dog-friendly. Had the Ice Tea, which was good and not too sweet.

Nice coffee, friendly staff, cosy environment. Good place to drop by after a long walk around Dunbar and while waiting for the next bus back to Edinburgh. It'd be even better if it is open a bit longer.
