Why have I not been in here before!

Lovely staff, friendly atmosphere and importantly........very nice food and coffee.

The seating area downstairs is very old and contains and old cast iron range, which enhances the atmosphere.

Love it - we'll be back soon.

Quirky friendly cafe that caters brilliantly for those needing Gluten Free food. Lots of small nooks with tables dotted about and a basement area too.

Absolutely LOVELY!!! Cutest old building from the 16th century, super cozy (sit downstairs!), with the kindest staff and most delicious home baked goods! We had breakfast dishes and couldn't have been more content.

A charming little find. Full of character and warmth. We popped in after an afternoon exploring the town, tempted by the inviting window display of cakes and pastries and a menu with plenty of appealing choices. The café has that lovely old-world feel, with both upstairs and downstairs seating, and a steady flow of customers creating a cosy atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and service was smooth throughout. We ordered a pot of tea and a latte, both served promptly. My jacket potato (you can choose up to 3 different fillings!) came with a crisp side salad and some crisps, while the Mexican flatbread was described as absolutely delicious. Everything arrived in good time and was great value for money. We didn’t try the cakes this time, but they looked fantastic.. definitely on the list for our next visit!!

Allows dogs which was ideal for us four and a dog. The place looks tiny from the front but is actually very large and spacious and makes full use of every nook and cranny. The food was delicious (homemade leek and potato soup was so creamy and full of flavour) and service was very friendly. A full five stars for each category. Thank you!!

What a beautiful surprise! This is a little, cute and cozy cafe you can stop by for a comforting breakfast or brunch.

The staff was very welcoming and always kind, despite being super busy, and you have a wide range of vegan foods that are not so basic and actually well-thought.

They have vegan sausage rolls made from real veggie stuffing, not the store-bought meat replacements you would usually get. The raspberry and white chocolate vegan cheesecake is absolutely delicious.

You can tell they really care at creating something tasty for different dietary styles.

Every time we’re in the area we’ll stop here for some food.

Friendly service and a good selection of light dishes, including vegan and gluten-free options. We sat downstairs in the basement room which was atmospheric and included a nice little play den in one corner for the kids. If I'm completely honest, it did smell a little musty down there though, particularly in the rear room. The food was however very good value and tasty.
