I think I’m one of the regular customers who visits this place at least four-five times a week. So overall the atmosphere is fantastic!! I appreciate the effort that the organisers and owners did put. So I have tried food from some of these restaurants that I wanna share honest opinion with you.

1. I tried Chicken Biriyani, Samosa Chat, Dahi Fuchka, and Karak Chai from this one, “Bombay Classics”. Really Top Notch!! I must say that they are making best Biriyani in the city centre. Every time It tasted better than taste of Lahore to me. Overall I will give him a solid, “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)”

2. Latest addition to my list is this, “Smokey Wokey”. I tried Prawn Fried Rice and Chicken Fried Rice from this guy yesterday. Absolutely, “Top quality”. It tasted so good and it was freshly cooked. Loved it. My Rating: “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)”.

3. Third one is this burger shop, “Munch Mania”. They are also offering good quality food. We had burger from them a lot of times. It always tasted good. Recommended!! My Rating: “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)”.

4. We tried mutton Biriyani and chicken fried rice from this, “Srilankan Kitchen”. Food was good! Price seems a little higher as compared with others out there. But overall it’s worth it. My suggestions to you guys to decrease the price of your shakes. 6/7 pounds for a shake in this food court didn’t seem okay to me. Overall Rating: My Rating: “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)”

5. This pizza shop, “Good Time Pizza”, seemed a family business. I tried chicken wings and chips from there. Food was average and price was a little high. I tried their pizza recently, it was average as well. My Rating: “⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3.5/5)”.

6. I ordered a Lunch deal from this restaurant “Grill Porteno”. They are selling Argentine style steak there. The steak they did put in the sandwich was not up to the standard. Overall it tastes average. My Rating: “⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5)”.

7. Tried few meal boxes from the Chinese restaurant just left hand side of the main entrance. Their food is average. Not so good or not so bad. My Rating: “⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ (3/5)”.

Today, my friends and I visited a Watford food hall, but unfortunately, the experience was completely spoiled by the person who claimed to be the owner (he introduced himself as Simon — though, based on his attitude, we doubt that’s true).

There were five of us in total. Three of us sat in the dining area while the other two went to order food from one of the food hall outlets. While waiting for our food (which was still being prepared), we had some coffee and a small snack that we already had with us.

Suddenly, one staff member approached us very rudely and said, “Outside food is not allowed.” We politely explained that we had already placed an order and were just having a quick coffee while waiting. He then went to speak to the so-called owner, who came over and spoke to us with absolutely no respect — his tone was aggressive and dismissive. He kept repeating, “This is my shop, and these are my rules,” without listening to our explanation.

There were no clear notices or warnings for customers entering the hall.

Feeling insulted, we decided to cancel our order. However, they told us that the refund would take three days, which added to the frustration.

The owner’s attitude was extremely unprofessional — he seemed to care only about enforcing his “rules,” not about hygiene, customer service, or creating a welcoming environment. It’s disappointing to see this kind of behavior in the UK hospitality industry.

(Note: According to him, his only responsibility is to stop people from bringing outside food or drinks! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼)

Loved the variety of food here. My daughter got a pizza from Good Time Pizza, the couple who cooked and served us are so kind and you could taste that the pizza was fresh and well made. I actually prefer it to takeaway pizza so definitely coming back to this stall.

We also got some pani puri from Bombay Classic and the man who served us there was also very kind and since it was the first time waiting pani puri we got it mild spiced, it was delicious and I think I'll be adding it to our dinner options.

I got the lamb hot box from Greekos Gyros and everything was spiced well. Once again the man serving was super kind and I really enjoyed the experience. I think I prefer this kind of kebab over the usual kebabs not sure what the spice mix was but I was pleasantly surprised with it.

We ended our feast with some bubble tea from Bubble Croffle the ladies there were so kind to my daughter and the teas were delicious!

Coming again soon 😊

The dish is called Argentinian Steak XL. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The meat arrived very cold, extremely thin, and quite hard, which made it disappointing. You can tell that the cut itself is Argentinian and that it probably started out good, but it cools down far too quickly and loses its quality on the plate.

The chimichurri was served in a very small amount and was overwhelmingly garlicky, which didn’t balance well with the steak. The salad came completely unseasoned, leaving the impression of just eating plain grass, and there were no extra seasoning sauces provided to fix it.

On the positive side, the potatoes were excellent crispy, flavourful, and really well done. They ended up being the highlight of the dish.

Very Disrespectful and Unfriendly Experience

We had a very unpleasant experience at Hello Watford Food Court. Our group of six friends came here to hang out and eat together. While we were waiting for our order from the momos shop inside the food court, one of the staff said it was okay to have small snacks from outside as long as we bought food from inside too.

Later, a person who said he was the owner came over and told us that outside food was not allowed at all, even if we ordered from the shops inside. He said, “I’m the owner, and I have my own rules,” and spoke to us in a rude and humiliating way in front of everyone.

To make things worse, one of the guys from the Argentinian Steakhouse also spoke to us in a threatening manner, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. We honestly didn’t mean to break any rules — there’s only a small sign hidden in a corner mentioning “no outside food or drinks.” It’s not clearly visible at all.

If they placed a clear notice at the entrance of the food court, everyone would understand the rule before entering, and situations like this could be avoided. Also, it made me wonder — if someone brings food for a 2-year-old baby, are they not allowed either, even if they order food from inside? That doesn’t sound right or family-friendly.

Overall, our simple plan to enjoy a meal together was completely spoiled. This place doesn’t feel welcoming or respectful at all, and we won’t be visiting again.

The place just opened, and it's really nice inside, with plenty of room to move around. I loved the good seating arrangement, which was super comfortable. Also, the food was delicious, and the prices were perfect. Overall, it is a great spot.
