The staff at Ellington Park Café are always kind and helpful, and they work incredibly hard. On sunny days it can get very busy, yet they remain cheerful and attentive, making sure you get exactly what you want.
The food is excellent, the prices are very reasonable, and the café is always kept clean and welcoming. Even when the queues are a little longer at peak times, the team never falters — they go out of their way to help, and their positive attitude makes all the difference.
A lovely spot with great service, delicious food, and genuine value. Highly recommended if you’re visiting the park!

I love this cafe, very dog friendly and you can take your dog inside if it's on a leash. Staff are very happy, and helpful with any dietary needs. Quite a large indoor seating area along with tables and chairs outside.
The food is great, the breakfasts are well worth the money and they also have dog sausages and dog cakes.
They have a great selection of cakes also with some being homemade but I've noticed you need to get in early for the homemade cakes as they sell fast.

Ellington park is my childhood park. In the last few years it has improved a lot. Its a lovely community cafe. We like to get a coffee and sit on the terrace and just watched the birds, squirrels and the world go by! The cafe has a real community spirit with retired groups during the day, as its only open until 4pm.
There is also toilets, that are unisex, ladies, just check the seat! But thats not the fault of the cafe!
The friends of Ellington park & Thanet District Council have helped by improving the park and it has helped to raise money to get The terrace and bandstand renovated and the children's playground has been improved. It also has a miniature railway that runs on weekends. Plenty of events for everyone too.

Live locally,really nice breakfast on a very icy morning. Extremely good value for money,in a nice setting. Well attended by customers.Very friendly and informative staff.Toilets,dog and wheelchair- friendly,free parking around outside of park (no dedicated carpark) can’t go wrong really!
