The Carn Bosavern team were extremely helpful when I came to them in August 2025 with a request to replace a clutch/dualmass fly wheel on an Audi A4 at very short notice. They were able to source the correct parts and turn around the installation within 24 hours. They were friendly and accomodating as well, so I definitely recommend their services.

Thank God for this garage, lovely mechanic's helped us out Amazingly, we were staying at Sennen campsite when we released our awning on our camper van was not attached one end 😔 looked like pop top and side door was holding it up, so we drove into St just to Carn Bosavern garage and asked if they could help, lovely chap behind the counter got someone to look at it to confirm it was just hanging and nothing holding it to the van ,told us we were lucky. Fitted us in the very next morning, our awning is now very safe put extra fittings front and back. Very happy with there quick service even when they were very very busy. Thank you so much we were able to carry on with our holiday without the worry 🙂 would definitely recommend this garage.

We needed repairs to our Fiat Ducato motorhome brakes whilst on holiday & most garages we tried couldn't accommodate the height. Terry managed to jiggle the diary around to book us in within a couple of days, and then made sure that the repairs were complete in the time promised, (including sending one of his team off to get further parts from Penzance that morning). Excellent service, thank you

Excellent garage. Engine warning light went off at 5.00 on a Friday and faced with a 200 mile plus journey on Sunday needed it checking out. Arranged to give it a full diagnostic at 9.00 the following day. Friendly, and helpful.

Terrible customer service. Avoid at all costs!
Horrible grumpy unprofessional man and untrained uneducated son. Think they both need to grow up as I've spoken to locals and they have experienced the same issues as me. If you can't do a job or are going to make your customers wait 3 hours without even looking at my vehicle maybe you should let them know. It was our only day off. We booked in at 1pm and I left around 3.45pm as they still didn't have it on the ramp for the mot. Didn't offer any discount just said we are too busy to do it. I'll find another local garage that sticks to their word. I hope other people boycott your garage as its the worst customer service I've experienced in 18 years

Excellent garage. Called and spoke to Joe first thing in the morning as my engine light came on whilst on holiday. He asked me to pop by and leave the car with him at 10 am and he would squeeze engine diagnostics in to his already fully booked schedule. I left the car with him walked 5 mins in to town to grab a coffee and cake, then around an hour later he called to to say he'd fixed and test driven the car which is now ready for collection.
Full itemised invoice and helpful description of the fault on arrival together with a competitive price. Would recommend.

Terrible experience. Booked in for an MOT and arrived promptly for the booking. We have only one vehicle so my and I went into town to wait. We called an hour later and they said they had a delay but they would be done in another hour. Me and my partner waited another hour and half before going up and they STILL didn't even have it on the ramps. We waited a further half an hour in the reception but when it still hadn't even been looked at we decided to go home and rebook another day. We rebooked over a week in advance then a day before we were due to go they cancelled because we left at our last booking. So unprofessional!! We were talking to locals throughout the weeks after and multiple people said they had experienced the same long wait times and rude staff. Be wary.
