We popped into Rhidorrochy Distillery Café for a quick sweet stop while on a Rabbie’s tour of the Highlands…. what a great part of the world. We shared a layered honey cake (lush!) and a cinnamon bun that was delicious, plus two great lattes. Lovely cosy little side room where we devoured everything quite quickly… and then had a full on shameless selfie-stick session that definitely ended up on their CCTV.

Friendly staff, warm vibe — we’re hoping to return in Feb and hang out there a little bit longer.

Popped in past with my dog for a pint when in the town.

Wow, what fantastic surroundings. Having been on long walks I sought out a comfy seat, the sofa in the delightful snug was perfect.

Brilliantly attentive staff, great range of drinks meant I stayed longer than planned. Selected the cheese board which was amazing. Thoroughly recommend this place. The quality shine through in every aspect.

Great spot for drinks and light bites with friends. The building has recently been renovated and looks fantastic, with exposed stonework adding to the tasteful interior. The space is split over two levels, connected by a spiral staircase. Tables are well spaced, offering a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere—unlike many places where seating can feel cramped.

We tried the “Little Bit of Everything” and the Pate platters - both were excellent. The drinks menu is extensive, with a good selection of wines, spirits, and beers on tap, along with additional choices in the chiller.

Service was excellent - friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout.

Popped in two weeks ago. It was a nice stay. My last visit was a few years ago, now it has all been renovated under New name, Staff and owner.

We had a lovely time! Robin was a wonderful help who explained our tasting board to us. Lots of delicious cheese and venison sausages! The atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious, and we were well taken care of! We got two boards between the five of us (one of our party ordered from the ‘littles’ menu) and we still didn’t finish all the cheese!

A fantastic bar that this wonderful couple have put so much love and work into, you can tell as soon as you walk in the door. The coffees are amazing (they have a very knowledgeable barista) and the cakes and platters are delicious. Dog friendly which is lovely and there’s even a sandpit and chalkboard outside for your kids to play in while you relax !! Ps make sure you buy their gin that they hand pick the botanicals themselves!

Visited Ullapool in November this year on a beautiful but very cold day. This eatery was a welcome stop where we were welcomed in for a bowl of piping hot homemade soup. The decor was comfy contemporary and the menu was varied with soup, sandwiches and a range of sharing platters. it looked like it would be great in the evening too!
