I was sitting alone at this pub on a stormy night and I was eating the most gorgeously prepared meal it was delightful…. I was so full of joy, I quickly asked a fellow waiter for the name of the chef of this exquisite experience and I heard he goes by the name of Malley.. what a wonderful person to have blessed my day with a succulent meal. God bless him

Had fish, chips, mushy peas and a side salad. Fish was delicious. Chips n peas good. Side salad old, floppy, soggy and should have been fresh. Service good. At 8pm they cranked up the music so we couldn't talk (sitting next to each other) no one else in pub. The bar was quiet. I'm sure it was to encourage us to leave! On the whole, food was OK. Service friendly. (don't have the salad!)

We had a big family gathering here and we were extremely happy with the staff and service. The turkey and slow cooked beef were very good. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. There is a small car park at back and larger one at front.

We was in the area due to family reason and needed to find somewhere to eat which normally is easy but I had our dog with us.
I gave Greyfisher a call and the lady was very helpful and said yes dogs can come in, bonus.
We turned up to a nice warm friendly pub, we found a table and went through the menu. Lots to choose from, me and 2 children were eating and even the children's menu had lots of offer and all at a reasonable price. Easy to order and the staff we lovely and very welcoming.
We was informed that a item was no longer available, this wasn't a problem as there was lots of other choices.
Now I have to say, what we paid I wasn't expecting anything great, well wasn't I wrong.
The food was cooked perfectly, tasted delicious even my fussy child ate his and we all enjoyed our meals. The staff were great, checked all was OK but then left us to eat, there was always someone close by.
The pub was a lovely place, very busy but you didn't feel crowded and had a wonderful atmosphere.

If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be going back, we may actually just take a trip back. So we can have a family meal at a reasonable price, in a warm welcoming place.

Pictures of food, were taken once we started eating.

Bonus for being Dog friendly

This is a great place to enjoy with loved ones, family and friends. The menu is mostly meat and there is no options for vegetarian dishes. The price is great and the drinks are amazing. There is certainly a lot of parking spaces for normal public and also for disabled parking. The atmosphere is good and there are offers especially for football fans too. There is toilets available and customer service is amazing. There is room for improvement by providing vegan choices on the side. The menu is included in the pictures and the prices are correct as at 08.01.2023 and may change foing forward. Thank you and have a great time 👍

We’ve been regular visitors to the Grey Fisher in Salisbury for many years and have always had positive experiences. Recently, we had one incident that led me to raise a concern, but it was handled brilliantly.

A staff member, Harrison contacted me promptly, offered a gift receipt and gave a full explanation and apology. When we next visited, he made sure our dining experience was as comfortable as possible and went above and beyond to reassure us it wouldn’t happen again.

Excellent customer service, we’ll no doubt continue to return many times in the future 😊

Most disappointing meal I've had in a long time. The first 5 things I wanted to order were unavailable so ended up with a very simple flatbread with steak ,salad and sause. No Mayo as I'm allergic. Turns up with mayo ruining the majority. I ate the meat but the rest was stuck to it so couldn't eat it. Then for the next 30 mins the place was overrun by 20 kids running round, screaming, windging banging tables and into tables.A percentage of customers swiftly left very clearly unimpressed and staff were very overrun by the parents being demanding but ignoring there children. Trying to get staffs attention at that time was impossible and waited hoping to refunded what I couldn't eat as I didn't want to stay either. When it was quieter I went over and was offered to redo the majority but by then seemed pointless. So I wasted over £10 on a meal to only have handful of pieces of steak
