We only visited for coffee n cake. It was a little late in the day (4pm) so cake selection wasn't much but everyone enjoyed their choice. Kids had diluting juice large and they are large drinks! But youngest found his too sweet. My coffee (caramel latte) was too sweet too so was kindly exchanged with no fuss. There's something i feel missing with this place. Perhaps with its theme about time, maybe a huge screen portraying older movies from a by gone era would add to its atmosphere.

Cheerfully not-flash sort of place, I like it because I don't feel they mind if I have my working clothes on. Personally,I don't much like the radio channel they have playing. All day breakfast is great. Decent coffee

Food and service always excellent here, it is very busy so booking is probably wise around busier times! It gets noisy when it's busy so conversation can be harder at the middle tables especially!

Friendly atmosphere, cheerful staff, usually good food and speedy service. Only gripe is about the front door which can stick open if pulled open too far, fine in summer but miserable in winter if your sat close.
