Nicola's retreat was really lovely. Entering her treatment room through her lovely garden, with the delicious scent of lavender in the air I was already relaxing! The treatment room is clean and chic and her bed is a thing of wonder - its individually movable components made lying down for an hour no problem at all for my usually creaky back. I had a brightening facial and Nicola plays a meditation to start with which was super relaxing and did away with the usual slightly awkward 'should we chat, should we not' moment. The treatment was excellent, felt very comprehensive and my skin feels fantastic. I've had facials at quite a few places in Colchester and this is easily one of the best. And the price was great too!

A friend paid for me to have a back treatment - info before hand was easy to understand, easily found The Greys, and no problems parking.
Nicola was warm and friendly, and very calming. The back treatment was wonderful - very relaxing with meditative music in the background - lots of soft fluffy towels and a weighted blanket keeping me warm and snug when a particular part wasn't being worked on.
The massage elements were both relaxing and relieving.
The back treatment left my back feeling like spearmint - tingly and cool for a while, and ever so soft afterwards.
I'd love to go again - but would plan to have the rest of the day off, because I was very relaxed and didn't really want to do anything productive for the next couple of hours! (Which is exactly what I really needed!)

Nicola has a tranquil oasis of calm in her beautifully tended to garden! I went for a 90 minute facial and it was honestly one of the most relaxing treatments I have ever had (and I am somewhat of a treatment fiend)! Nicola is obviously incredibly knowledgeable about the skin and products and has a calming and kind manner about her, making you feel completely at ease. The attention to detail from Nicola at the greys retreat is incredible, from the recorded meditation that plays at the start of your treatment to help you clear your mind, to the blissfully comfortable treatment table, plus walking back down the garden path to my car with a cute little bag full of product samples and my own little cleansing sponges she has thought of everything. I just wish I could see her every day!

A beautiful place to go -really relaxing and the room smelt lovely. Nicola took her time to discuss my history and explain the products. The treatment was lovely, the bed was so soft and comfortable and the massage was great too. My skin felt so nice afterwards and looks much clearer and brighter. I’m really pleased with the results. ? definitely recommend Nicola.

I have been having regular facials with Nicola for more than ten years and can highly recommend! As well as being a complete professional and knowing exactly what my skin needs, Nicola is welcoming, friendly and kind and immediately puts you at ease. The combination of facial with Nicola’s amazing touch therapies and use of heated blanket and essential oils in her beautiful cabin salon leave me feeling utterly relaxed and pampered. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.
