We timed it just right.Costa was busy but not overly so. The staff were very polite and welcoming. There was a good selection of cake available. This of course makes it difficult choosing the right one. The drinks were soon ordered and prepared. We easily found a table and were pleased to see the table cleared. Other empty tables in the cafe were also clean. This is not always the case in other establishments. So that's a plus factor from me. The cake we chose was excellent, as was the coffee and tea. The cost was very competitive with other establishments in the area.

Have catterick Costa coffee changed their rules on bringing dogs in, as to day bank holiday Monday 5th may two cockerpoo dogs were in. It was only a few weeks ago someone was turned away with a dog and sat outside , only asking as I would bring mine with me .

Using the store locator on the website to identify whether or not it is a dog friendly Costa, it showed that this was a dog friendly Costa. So walking there with my dog and two children and then after ordering my drinks being told I’d have to sit outside with the drinks I’d already purchased was a bit frustrating. Change of information is needed online and/or staff to be trained on store policy would help massively. At least I had a warm latte to sit on the ice cold metal seats out front.

I have been to lots of Costa Coffee shops and this is my favourite. The staff are brilliant industrious and quite diverse a real European experience with staff whose skills are vocational and not just a job. Great work 👍 🤠⭐️

Always busy, so expect a wait when ordering. Once ordered extremely fast professional service. Great tasting coffee, without having to rush out to leave. Food items look good, unable to taste and therefore unable to say, but other people seem happy with quality.
