Strada is my go-to for breakfast and honestly the only place I’ll go. The food is always fresh, packed with flavour and comes out quickly. Portion sizes are generous and it’s worth every penny every single time.

The owner is absolutely lovely and the staff are just as kind and welcoming. There’s a real homely atmosphere here and you feel looked after from the moment you walk in.

Drinks:
I don’t drink coffee but the tea is always spot on. Honestly the best tea I’ve had and I’ve had plenty. The fresh juices are great too.

Parking:
Plenty of parking right outside which makes it even easier.

Overall:
Can’t fault a thing. Great food, amazing people, homely vibe. Highly recommend the South African special if you visit. If you’re after a proper breakfast spot this is the one.

Writing this at 4.30 in the morning because I’m actually missing the breakfast right now. That says it all.

The owner and staff are really friendly. It's clear the owner & chef takes pride in his work and makes a point of interacting with customers he's also more than happy to make suggestions based on your tastes. Food was quick, hot and delicious. Great vegan & veggie options for my friend too. Child friendly too with plenty of highchairs available and the staff all made a fuss of my little one. I'll definitely be returning!

Really enjoyed our experience here, great location, small local cafe, with huge a menu choice. Wanted to try everything but unfortunately my appetite wouldn't stretch that far. We came in for lunch, and was greeted by the owner and staff. Really welcoming and love the decor of the place. It's not huge so would recommend to call ahead before arriving.
The food was phenomenal, fresh, really well presented and delicious.
Will be definitely back for the breakfast.

Attended for an anniversary breakfast meal and it was a very good choice. The owner is such a nice gentleman and made us both feel welcome and we had a nice chat

It’s amazing to see an owner/chef who understands the needs of customers. He suggested several options based on what I said I liked and removed and changed up certain things I didn’t like

The food was exceptional and good portion sizes. The Philly cheesesteak croquet madame was very tasty. The brisket was different to the normal overly sweet bbq style most places serve. I could tell it was prepared with care and it had a deep rich flavour

I would always recommend trying the French toast here. You will not find better elsewhere. The special Ras malai French toast was very, very nice. So many different flavours and textures

The drinks here are very good too. I had a very nice matcha drink

For any breakfast/brunch lovers, this is a must visit place! You will not be disappointed!

The food absolutely exceeded my expectations. The menu is so unique — not your typical brunch spot serving the same old dishes. Every plate is interesting and full of character. We ordered the South African Breakfast and the Turkish Breakfast, and they completely blew our minds. Everything was bursting with flavour, the sausages were to die for, and the chilli oil was just fabulous. So delicious I could’ve eaten two plates myself! I’m genuinely tempted to try every single item on the menu. Can’t wait to go back.

A nice little cosy place to have a meal and chit-chat/catch-up with your friend or loved ones. There are varieties of breakfasts and a jam packed menu.
Not bad for a little cafe! It has the authentic menu but with a modern twist.
A place to visit, lovely staff.
Will be revisting to try other foods on the menu.

I stopped in at Strada Cafe and honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed. I ordered the South African Breakfast, the peach apple juice, and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich — and everything hit the mark.

The South African breakfast was hearty, flavourful, and cooked perfectly. The highlight, though, was the peach apple juice. It was beyond this world — fresh, vibrant, and easily one of the best juices I’ve ever had. I’d go back just for that alone. The Philly cheesesteak was rich, cheesy, and packed with tender meat, the kind of comfort food that leaves you smiling after every bite.

The service was warm, the atmosphere relaxed, and the food genuinely memorable. Highly recommend Strada Café if you’re looking for something delicious and satisfying.

Wonderful cafe with friendly staff, super menu options and huge selection of teas. Really recommend the Turkish breakfast which is spiced perfectly. Large car park that is accessed off Leeds Road just before the lights on your right when coming from Mirfield.
