The stables cafe is my go-to cafe in Falkland when I'm looking for some grub. The menu is simple; sandwiches and toasties, but they're generous with their fillings and it means the food is ready quickly.

They make a coffee-heavy latte, which is a big plus from me. And the outside seating is well maintained and regularly changed around to give a sense of variety.

The staff here are bubbly and friendly, even when a large groupof folk show up and the cafe is already busy! They do an excellent job.

Finally managed to visit and was just sad I’d never been before!!
Did find it a little hard to get into but I’m sure that’s just me!!
Food and service were great and the setting so beautiful and tranquil - very much looking forward to returning
Pity you can’t hear the bird song in the photo and the menu does not mention the incredibly delicious bread that the sandwiches are served on!!

There for the visit, very nice food & atmosphere. Free parking if the village is too full its just as easy to park here & walk down to the village (keeping the locals happy!!).
