Such a beautiful spot. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were immediately made to feel welcome. We didn't eat as we'd not long had breakfast, but the fresh cakes were incredibly tempting. Very clearly signposted from the falls and the short walk offered exceptional views. Overall, an excellent place to rest, refuel and take in your surroundings.

A group of us visited on Christmas Eve and had a fantastic experience. Very friendly staff, sizeable portions and good value for money! The hot chocolate is fantastic, and the latte is also noteworthy. If you're heading for breakfast/brunch, don't pass up on the full English! Worth the short walk out of town and highly recommend

Simply lovely cosy cafe a short walk from Ambleside. We enjoyed a delicious pre-Christmas family lunch, great options for everyone, including vegetarian, and nice coffee, wine and cakes. Well worth the walk up the hill and we'll definitely be back to enjoy the views, ambience and wholesome tasty food.

What a lovely cafe this is. Not busy with it been Christmas time so only the lady owner on. But the place is excellent and the lady was very helpful and prompt when we ordered. Would recommend to friends and family and will return on our next walk. Many thanks 👍.

A gorgeous cafe with a lovely sheltered outside space for having lunch or tea. Cosy inside if you’re cold. Lovely use of odd crockery which I love as the cafe is obviously keen to follow a sustainable route. Really worth a stop off en route or even to pop up there for gorgeous views and very pleasant ambiance.
