Thank you so much to the team at Lu’s for making my sister’s baby shower so special! From my initial inquiry to the day itself, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! For our party size we were placed in the beautiful conservatory (accessible and plenty of parking), all staff were lovely, polite and attentive; no issue with bringing decorations or games (our youngest guest loved Lu’s garden games outside), our afternoon teas were delicious and the extra surprise at the end was so lovely and thoughtful! I would 100% reccomend Lu’s for any meal or event! If you’re not sure, give them a call and you’ll be at ease in moments 🙂

I went here on the off chance they would have room. I was on my own with my dog and was offered the choice of two areas to sit; at a table or a lovely coffee table which seated 4 and I was really impressed. I often get shoved in a corner to allow larger parties the pick of the tables.
My dog was immediately brought some water and I had a drink followed by one of the best sandwiches Ive ever had; chicken, chorizo and pepper. The portion was large and served piping hot.
The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed and I was impressed that I was accomodated; especially as I felt quite casual next to some of the other diners.
Some drinks are a little pricey but there are plenty of other more reasonable more options to choose from. I thought my meal was excellent value for money and I wasnt rushed. Would definitely return if in the area.

Took my mum here for lunch for her first time today. I have to say, Alex was absolutely outstanding as our waiter. What a truly lovely man. Food was delicious (we had the Royalty breakfast as they were still serving the breakfast menu when we arrived at 12) and we shared some banana cake for pudding which was gorgeous. A really lovely experience made even better by the service. Thank you.

Bought a £50 gift voucher for a birthday present when there was an offer of 15% off. I've just been informed this gift voucher can't be used but I will be refunded the £42.50 I paid. so what do I say to the recipient? Sorry but your birthday present is now only worth £42.50 not £50. Very unhelpful staff when I asked for the £50 that I bought to be honoured and was refused.

UPDATE in response to your ridiculous reply.
You can't sell a voucher on promotion then cancel it straight away so that the person can't use it. Anyway lesson learnt. Myself, my family and friends will be going elsewhere and I hope this review serves as a warning for people who think about purchasing any further promotions you choose not to honour.
