I think one of the best coffees - Cuban so it is to be expected! Every time I am in Brighton it is a must visit! Cappuccino made to perfection and staff that makes you want to visit everyday of my stay here. Today was Tatiana a lovely, warm and welcoming barista that make beautiful drinks. I couldn’t ask for more.

I’m normally a very regular customer, 3 times a week for many months. But this is the last straw.

Always there is one, the same, staff member looks at me like I’m made of some disease. I tolerate it, but it’s not nice.

Once over the holiday the owner was picking up the days so his staff could take holiday, and usually I get a coffee and sit for an hour to write. But about 10 minutes into enjoying my day, he makes some excuse and kicks me out. And only me! Everyone else was allowed to stay. I forgave him, he apologised and offered me a free coffee next time, which never happened. Dishonourable, but I accept it.

But this was the last straw. I don’t normally buy cakes here, only coffee, but today I decided to buy a nice tiramisu. When I got home, it was a one centimetre sliver of a cake, for £5, in a dirty box!

No better way to tell a very regular loyal customer to go away forever. I’ve had it, I gave so much to this business and they treated me like a rabid disease. Maybe because I’m a European foreigner, I don’t know. What a horrible place. Never again.

And to the owner, please move your till to the other side of the counter, having it right at the door makes everyone awkwardly bunch up trying to pay, enter and exit, and no one knows where to queue. Have some common sense.

Lovely cakes and brunches served here!
I like their coffee here but the cake was too sweet for me. Ongoing construction of the flats when i visit there but cafe looks pretty in white.

Came here after a photoshoot, the girl on till was really lovely, I couldn’t decide on a Snack and she recommended the red velvet cake!

I had a chai latte, and the red velvet cake really was as good as it looked 🙂

There is wifi here and nice tables with space to decompress

Great little find on a very early Sunday in Kepmptown, Brighton.

Needed somewhere to sit for 30-45mins or so and came here. The two girls on the till (did not get their names) were super lovely and had a chat with me about my knitting that I had come in with. Great service, potentially the best Mocha I've ever had and loved the free WiFi.
Really nice cafe and while I didn't eat here, the food looked great.
Thank you to the two girls working on the front counter who were really sweet, ill be back soon I'm sure 💕

A quick stay in Brighton meant a google search for somewhere to get breakfast. Lucky for us we came across CoffeetZar. What a wonderful friendly welcome, lovely bright fresh decor ,exceptional coffee & loads of delicious looking food choices. I had the Greek yoghurt with granola ,sour cherries & honey. And oh my!.
My husband had a more traditional choice. Both delicious and good value. Couldn’t resist a couple of homemade treats for the long drive home either.

Had a solid routine of smoothie, iced coffee and sometimes a snack (spanakopita or similar), poring over a book. I lived round the corner from here and now I’m not in Brighton, this is one of the only places I really miss. I think about it every day.
