Honestly the staff running this place made it very noticeable how a cafe / restaurant should run. Coffee was great, cake was naughty and sandwiches and salad excellent. Prices were a bit high but overall worth it. Will come back 💯

This is a lovely little cafe in Clifton village
It has a good range of freshly made savoury snacks and cakes. There is also a good choice of coffees, teas and soft drinks. Orders are made at the till and are then brought to your table. There is a water font available at no cost. Service was pleasant.

There's a charming atmosphere with a great balance between modern aesthetics and a cosy, relaxed vibe. The staff were warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. A lovely spot whether you're catching up with friends or getting some quiet work done. A little on the pricier side, but worth it for the quality and ambience. Would definitely go back!

I came here today and experienced quite disappointing service. I ordered a salad and the chicken sandwich for £13. The salad was fantastic, the sandwich okay but a little bland - lacking in flavour and texture.

I requested to the staff whether they could add a tiny bit of winter slaw onto my sandwich to add some crunch. I only thought to do this after I finished my salad, which I explained to them. I was told I had to pay for another salad (which is £6) to which I explained that I found the sandwich a little bland and want to save it for later and actually enjoy it. The waitress with blonde hair tied back proceeded to argue with me, claiming it’s not bland - and said I have to pay extra if I want more. I found this really inappropriate. I found the sandwich bland, and I don’t appreciate having the waitress argue with me and try to invalidate my opinion after I’ve spent money in your establishment.

Just to be clear, I was requesting for a small amount to be sprinkled on top, like the size of a dessert spoon. She then said “we have other customers to serve” which I found incredibly rude, as I was also one of their customers. She proceeded to angrily dollop a spoon of salad on my sandwich with a lot of attitude. I feel like this kind of behaviour is so uncalled for. I was making a very small and reasonable request after spending £13 in your establishment, I asked politely, and to be met with such unkindness is so disappointing

I came here 3 days in a row during my stay because the coffee (latte) was so so good. The sausage sandwich had quality ingredients but I feel like it needs some further ingredient added to the mix to elevate it to the next level as it was a bit dry.

Great selection of pastries for breakfast and sandwiches/baguettes/focaccia for lunch.

I loved vegetarian beans in toast but breakfast ciabatta was a bit stale and quit modestly filled.

This place doesn’t allow dogs inside. However they have sitting area outside which is enjoyable weather permitting.

Laptops are welcome though and many people work from there.

DJ- Store Manager

I visit this café most Sundays and just wanted to call out DJ, the store manager. She’s always full of energy, smiling, and genuinely engaging with customers. You can tell she really knows her regulars and creates a welcoming atmosphere every time.
It always feels well run and friendly, which makes a big difference to the overall experience.
Always a pleasure coming here!
