I needed a venue to hold a one to one with a local employee, so contacted Rushton Hall events team. They very quickly put together a two day package for me that surpassed my expectations for price and quality. The hotel is beautiful, with extensive grounds and a great variety of bird life. The room was luxurious and the Penhaligon toiletries were a welcome change from Gilchrist and Soames. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones I have ever slept in. I ate in the brasserie and the restaurant. Both were excellent, with attentive friendly service. The bartender was particularly good at making my favourite cocktail. The room for the meeting was airy and spacious with everything required for a successful meeting. The lady looking after us made sure that we were well provided for with an excellent selection of refreshments and food. My colleague was so impressed by the dinner that he now intends to come back for New Year Eve. I intend to return for pleasure at a later date. Highly recommended.

Came here for a night away for my boyfriend’s birthday and a relaxing night away. Staff were extremely friendly upon arrival and we got taken to our room which was a lovely touch.
The room was spotless, the rustic look of the hotel is beautiful; I’m glad they haven’t modernised it to make it look minimal and lifeless, they’ve kept the old windows and it adds so much character to the place. The bed was very comfortable, room was warm and bath/shower was lovely.
On to the spa, the pool is lovely and warm and the jacuzzi is even warmer. They have a good amount of loungers next to the pool. The sauna and steam room are lovely too. The staff at the spa were accommodating and friendly.
We didn’t eat here but got a drink from the bar which was classy and the drinks were lovely. We will definitely be returning!

We had a lovely time at Rushton Hall celebrating my mother's life with the family following her funeral. The hotel was an excellent choice and the service we received before and during our stay was outstanding. The rooms and food were more than we could wish for and the venue was certainly the sort of place my mother would have loved.||The grounds in the Autumn are spectacular and the rooms inside the hotel are lovely. We had our own private dining space in the evening for 14 adults and took advantage of the spacious bar area.||We would highly recommend Ruston Hall.

This is a really beautiful hotel in a stunning stately home. The rooms are large and really well furnished and equipped. Dinner in the brasserie was very nice but a bit more creative menu would be fitting for such an amazing location. The staff are very friendly and helpful and Dave, the concierge, is absolutely brilliant- very profesional, attentive to every detail and such a nice guy. We will definitely be going back, and soon.

Me and several friends booked to stay in the hotel after a festival for a bit of recovery/pampering. It was also my birthday so we booked the 4 poster room, and the private dining room. It was beyond everything we could have hoped for - the building is amazing, the bar and dining room incredible and it was so great to be able to recover in the spa too. We saw some of the other rooms too, and even the lowest priced rooms are still amazing.|All of the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and very patient with the weary festivalgoers! |Some of us even ended up booking another night - we had such a great time we think we might have to make it a yearly tradition!

Got a last minute bargain on this spa break off season. Absolutely no regrets. |Magnificent building in a splendid location and beautiful surroundings villages - lovely break for two. The spa hotel itself was a spectacular place to recover after a day of exercise. Great place to switch off and unwind. |Very polite and helpful staff in all areas.

The staff and food make this place. Shirley at breakfast was absolutely lovely and she made us feel like part of the family. Wish we saw her more during our stay. ||The price you pay, well let's say you are paying for the staff and building definitely not the level of detail or the rooms. The whole building internally needs some cleanliness and paint work. The room itself was very dated and needed some love and the shower needed some maintenance. Stayed in Lewis Tresham. I'm also not sure those rooms get a deep clean, as a previous housekeeper in life there are certain tells. ||The spa was poor. The staff again lovely, but I wouldn't get a massage again and nor would I use the facilities again. I understand allowing young kids in the pool, but when I'm trying to relax and have kids playing games it ruins the atmosphere. Again the steam room needs some tlc. Paris on reception was really lovely and I noticed her attention to detail with members noticing what they needed before they even asked for it. Definitely a key attribute to the team. ||Food, is absolutely lovely! But £12 for dessert.... Not worth the price. I ate in the brasserie style restaurant and loved everything we got except the puddings, the size didn't equate the price. Maybe more £7/£8.||The building is great and clearly carries a lot of history, it would be great if this was translated into the visits. The brochures in the room aren't enough and would be nice to see more signs outlining the history.||Probably wouldn't come back to the hotel at present due to the lack of spa facilities and the quality of the room. However, I will definitely be back for a meal.

We got married at Rushton Hall and had the best day! The Orangery is the perfect backdrop for photos and drinks reception. We had our ceremony in the picture room and the wedding breakfast in the ballroom and I’m so pleased we did as it meant we fully utilised the Orangery. The on site wedding coordinators were really friendly and responsive to all of our wedding related queries and I loved all of our wedding appointments leading up to the wedding. All the bedrooms are gorgeous and the grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed a day in the spa and afternoon tea in The Great Hall and would definitely like to stay at the hotel again. We would highly recommend Rushton Hall for any special occasion in any season. It was the perfect day!
