Swedish Kitchen in Wellingborough and Rushden is my go-to for a hearty Swedish meal.

The Meatball Plate is my favorite with its tender meatballs, perfect crinkle-cut chips, and that unique beetroot salad-type relish—I've been trying to recreate it at home, it's so good!

My wife enjoyed the hotdog, and the burger on a previous visit didn't disappoint. However, it's the meatball plate I keep coming back to.

Run by the Swedish-born Henrik, his expertise in professional kitchens is evident in every bite. The staff is friendly and attentive, always happy to fulfill a request for extra gravy, which by the way, my kids can’t get enough of!

A warm, flavorful experience every time, and we can't wait for our next visit. The Swedish Kitchen is a culinary gem in the locality. Skål to that!

Awful food. The Crispy Chicken was flavourless and soggy. We ordered delivery and they took very long to prepare the food. Completely ignored the preferences that we set to get things removed from the food. The chips were soggy and the cheesy chips hardly had cheese in them.

Good food and good prices - was in 2021

Paid £3.7 for a small chessy chip. But they forgot chesse... Price increased a lot recently but not the service - updated in 4/2024

Swedish Kitchen in Wellingborough is a fantastic choice! They offer great food, catering to everyone including vegetarians. Today, we tried the chicken plate, which perfectly replenishes energy after a hard day’s work with its nice, big portion. Highly recommended by the ASP Removals team!

Went here recently as advised by a friend. The guy serving me was full of spirit and assured me i would return as they do the best burgers in Wellingborough and he was right. It was great (despite not being on a brioche bun, but that's just My personal preference). Chips we're amazing too and filled me up easily. Great food and service. Viking burger meal recommended.
