Went in for late breakfast (11am) and the table hadn't been cleared so moved the plates ourselves to another table. Ordered the small English breakfast (£4) and my friend ordered the breakfast omelette. After about 25 minutes, we asked when our food would be ready. The lady said it was coming together now. 10 minutes later, it arrived at our table. My breakfast was warm, not hot. Not exactly quality produce and didn't really appreciate getting a crust for toast. My friends omelette with beans was swimming in oil (see pic) and turned to mush which put him off eating it.

So yeah...poor, slow service with less than adequate food. There are much better cafes in Hillsborough to eat or go for coffee, so I won't be returning to this one again.

Food was horrible. I ordered the small breakfast, the tomato was paste, eggs and mushrooms were oily and hash brown was bland, bread was heavily buttered and soggy. Will not be coming back again. Coffee was also burnt. Also very small cafe, wouldn’t recommend bringing prams or wheelchairs.

Friendly and welcoming staff. I had the small breakfast and my husband had the standard. There was plenty to eat. Couldn't have managed the large!
Very dog friendly.

Jams is quite small but very warm and welcoming. I stopped off for breakfast and had the American pancakes with Bacon and Maple Syrup. It was delicious and a very good price of £5.00. The cafe was very clean and welcomed dogs in as well, which was really nice.

Lovely, friendly and busy little cafe right opposite Hillsborough Park

All the ingredients are sourced locally and are fresh and from local suppliers which is great

The staff are in honestly incredibly rude. From just having a bad attitude taking our order and not clearing the table we sat at for over half an hour to telling us we couldn’t take chairs from other tables - meaning our group had to sit seperately.

Then they forgot our drink order - we ended up leaving without them in the end as after we enquired after 45 minutes, the young lady was extremely rude and told us to sit down and wait as she hadn’t been told we’d ordered anything.
Speaking to the table next to us, they had the same issue - the man said he’d been overcharged and had his drink order forgotten and asked for it twice before receiving it long after his food.

The food was honestly below par also - nothing special at all. It also took way too long to come out.
Honestly go to Boo cafe or something further down in hillsborough which have much nicer staff and food.

Had a great coffee time. I felt too relaxed with a great atmosphere around. I ordered a hash brown which was okay-ish. I wish to visit the cafe again to try a few more vegetarian dishes.

And it is a pet friendly cafe.
