Lovely little tea shop in the Shambles with inside and outside seating, good food and great cakes. We chose a walnut coffee sponge cake, which was moist and delicious. The pork bun was just like my nan used to make. Lovely fresh bun topped with apple sauce, a generous slice of roast pork and a good slice of stuffing. Service was friendly and ambience was nice. Value for money when compared to other tea houses in the town and well worth a visit.

Lovely little cafe. We had pork bab & walnut cake and both were good. Coffees are good too. Reasonable pricing, comfy seating and clean place. They have a few seating outdoor too..

I've visited here twice whilst staying with family in the area. All I can say is, it would be dangerous if I lived nearer! The cake display looks so tempting and the menu for breakfast and lunch also looks good. The coffee is really full of flavour and the service has been very warm, friendly and efficient both times. Next time, it will definitely be to sample some of the goodies!

Lovely little cafe that was very busy when I visited recently. I really enjoyed my quiche and salad and the cakes on display looked tasty, though I didn't have one. My only concern was a dog cage that sat just outside the kitchen and was also close to the toilets, so a potential trip hazard as well as being unhygienic. I love dogs but that's not right, imo

Loved it. Homemade cakes. A real treat to be served great tasting coffee, rather than just warm and wet. Friendly staff. A great find.

Lovely place for atmosphere but if you want good coffee, I would suggest going elsewhere. The coffee tasted burnt & bitter somewhat like burnt toast. Not recommend if you want a good coffee. There are other nice places just a stones throw away. Would suggest that the shop changes its coffee beans to a higher quality bean that is freshly roasted. Other than that it’s a lovely place.

We found this cafe on our first day of our holiday, we loved it so much, we visited everyday. A licensed cafe serving breakfast, cakes and light lunches with fabulous service. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the cafe was warm and inviting, with food to die for. All of the food was homemade, well worth visiting Bradford on Avon just to go to the Bolthole. We will be back.

Located down a small passage way generally in the shade on a hot day. Seating inside and outside. Small breakfast menu and cakes with hot and cold drinks plus ice creams. Not a lot of anything in Bradford on Avon but a few cafes though they do shut earlyish. Worth a try
