We had a lovely stay here. The lodges are lovely and spacious and it's really peaceful and quiet there. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
Downsides are that the lodges aren't the cleanest... there were a lot of dust everywhere and marks on walls and doors. And there's not a lot to do on site.
There are a couple of nice walks if you have dogs, and the beach is full of shells to collect. However, the site would really benefit from having a play area or something for children to do.

Lovely clean and spacious lodge located in our opinion the prettiest part of the island. Lodge was easily accessible for disabled and the staff were attentive. Both our dishwasher and washing machine had faults but the issues were fixed and resolved within an hour of reporting. The lodge was pretty well equipped although we were a party of 5 guests and there was only cutlery provided for 4. The site is peaceful and tranquil. The access to the beach is a real plus. We enjoyed walks with the dog and paddle boarding along its rugged, unspoilt and deserted coastline and the kids enjoyed the beach side play area too. Its a lovely spot for sunset also. The bar/reception area is lovely offering a full bar but also smoothies and milkshakes and a nice social area for kids to make friends and play with others. Would have been nice to see the pizza oven service area being offered to guests on the site on a couple of the evenings.

Possibly the nicest ‘lodge’ style holiday park we have stayed at. Went with a dog so had one of the Yaverland lodges and was really impressed! The actual site itself is incredibly calm and peaceful, lodges are beautiful, master bedroom even has a walk in wardrobe room! we had a couple of little niggles- not enough to complain or raise really- tv didn’t work in main bedroom and other really tiny niggles. What I really liked is the fact they give you alot of the things you need, which really elevates it from some other places- so you get shower gel, a kitchen set with dishwasher tablets, bin bag, washing up things and a tea tray- normally for a short break I’d be bringing alot of this with me or purchasing and thought it was an excellent touch.

Lovely luxurious lodge. Lovely site. Lovely people. A real gem nestled in amongst woodland walks and a shingle beach. The lodge had everything you need, right down to oven gloves! Very quiet and tranquil, a lovely place to relax and absorb the beautiful surroundings. A great little dog friendly bar. Will definitely return in the future.

Lovely holiday. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Woodside Bay. The Lodge is comfortable and spacious. Well equipped for self catering. Very peaceful even with 2 kids. You can walk to the beach through the woods. Our lodge was quite secluded, and feeding the red squirrels who visited every day was a bonus.|Thank you

Rooms were tiny, carpet gave my dog fleas and most furniture broken, staff completely apathetic, and tricky to get to after paying the £200 ferry for the car (albeit that’s not this places fault)

Upon arrival the fridge was broken, bin lid would not close, all the furniture was broken or in a poor state of disrepair as it’s all low density plywood with a thin veneer. Hot tub lid broken, and eventually when they replaced the fridge (the only item they fixed) it successfully froze everything (really does either run to freeze or is off - we tried).

We treated my dog for fleas 2 days before we arrived and checked thoroughly she had none. She began itching a few days in and actively avoided the carpet. We checked again and lo and behold she had picked up fleas from the carpet! We treated her again and then the carpet and furniture at our own expense, and when we informed the reception they were totally uninterested. Receptionist kept repeating they expect customers to treat their dogs before arrival (she wasn’t interested in hearing that’s what we had done) and only wrote down on a post-it note that we experienced fleas under much sufferance. I don’t think she will do anything about it. Extremely disappointing since they charge £70 to keep the dog and you clearly get absolutely nothing for it!

I am leaving this lodge more stressed, more tired, and less comfortable than when I arrived. I will never stay here again.

A great spot for a stay on the island provided you have a car as it's a long way from the main road and bus route. This also makes it very tranquil. Perfect for morning beach walks although it is blocked in on either side at high tide. Good variety of high spec lodges to rent although they could do with a little TLC in places. Lovely wildlife including red squirrels and rabbits. We stayed in a spacious well equipped two person lodge with hot tub, bath, shower, wine fridge etc. and really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for a midweek and it was really lovely. Had the "Nettlestone" Lodge and it was amazing. It's located in the woods and near the beach so it was quiet and calm. There were some Squirrels which even came on the Decking that was sweet.
The way is actual a bit rough as there is a building site on the Street but this is just a matter of time.
