I am the tour manger for a car club and recently stayed with a large group of friends at the Luccombe Hall. What a wonderful hotel, from start to finish everything was 'spot on'. The staff were friendly and very efficient, especially Charlotte who seemed to be on duty the whole time we were there. Nothing was too much trouble. |Rooms - we had room 22. A sea view balcony room - very clean, plenty of drawer space, comfortable bed and 'fresh' milk in the fridge. Bathroom was quite small but once again very clean, with body lotion as well as the usual shower gel, hair shampoo and conditioner. Plenty of hot water.|Food - excellent and caters for all dietary needs. To serve 42 people a three course meal without any hitches takes some doing. It was served hot and very well presented. Large portions. Breakfast is buffet style for the cereals etc with cooked breakfasts ordered as required. Once again, plenty of choices.|I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel to groups and individuals alike. |From being to end it was a great experience and having stayed in many hotels this one stands out from the rest by a long shot.|Wonderful

We moved to Luccombe Hall from Luccombe Manor as it was easier access to the restaurant for my husband who is disabled.|The staff were so kind and thoughtful, they couldn't do enough to help us. |The restaurant served excellent food, very hot, for breakfast and dinner and had lovely sea views. |Our rooms were warm and comfortable and we were given a very convenient reserved parking space throughout our stay.

This is an excellent hotel, with friendly staff who take great care of their guests from the time.of arrival The decor is soft and with a relaxing ambience. The food is exceptional and is prepared and served with great care and consideration. The gardens are a great joy to walk around and contain many activities to entertain, which are discretely situated . The pools and hot tubs, both indoor and out are very inviting. The hotel has wonderful sea and coastal views.

The hotel, staff and service was excellent. The restaurant is so good that my wife and I are likely to visit it again for the evening alone. Disappointed that the room we were given did not have a direct view of the English Channel. Also surprised that there was not at least one lift and that it was not disability compliant. Impressed, however, that the hotel had stock of local products especially from Yates Brewery and Mermaid gin and vodka.

We have just returned from visiting our son in laws family at the Island and stayed at this lovely hotel. The room was very comfortable, well equipped together with outside private area with beautiful views. There are a host of areas to enjoy, a games room, inside tropical pool & various lounges. We loved our stay, thank you.

Went for afternoon tea. Not the warmest welcome on the reception desk but our waiter Daniels was very good and attentive. The blueberry scones were massive and very tasty as we're the sandwiches, along with a range of sliced cake. Tea, Earl Grey and coffee to complete a very nice visit at a reasonable price. Would definitely return.

So very pleased to have booked with this stunning hotel. It's definitely a view with a hotel! We had a garden room with a hot tub which was clean and comfortable. Fresh milk was provided each day for our mini fridge and there was a great selection for tea/coffee making and fresh biscuits each morning. It overlooked the pool and sea. Such wonderful, calming scenery. There was an excellent breakfast selection, the best! One of the waitresses, Charlotte was fabulous and looked after us so well. May I just mention, the hotel did not provide small bottles of still or sparkling water in the room. Otherwise a wonderful stay in sunny Shanklin. We would highly recommend this lovely hotel.

This is the best hotel we have stayed in, out of hundreds over the years. The staff, food, location, facilities and the room were all excellent. Have booked again for next year again for our wedding anniversary. I would absolutely recommend it as a very special place, but book a sea view, we spent our time watching the ships go by and the sunrise is amazing.
