We had a lovely time at Luccombe Manor. Our room was spotless and very well equipped. The bed was extremely comfy as were the pillows and it was great to have sockets near both bedside tables for phone charging. Really nice to find a selection of flavoured tea bags and hot chocolate sachet alongside the usual tea and coffee. |Loved the light up mirror in the bathroom with the special magnifying section, great for putting on make-up. |Breakfast was amazing, lots to choose from, beautifully presented and delicious and as mentioned in other reviews, served by friendly attentive staff . We will definitely be back of holidaying in Shanklin again.

Perfect location by the beach with great views. Best dog friendly hotel ever. Lovely breakfast. Staff were excellent, so helpful and smiley. The dog wash station was useful. The dinner at luccombe hall was disappointing though. The rooms were nice and bathrooms were spotless. Swimming pools and games around the grounds were s real pleasure. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the island.

Absolutely blown away! Super friendly reception staff, really nice rooms and common areas. What really impressed us was the amenities! The kids play areas are brilliant and the game rooms are the best I’ve personally ever seen! The pool and sauna are top notch too. Definitely be coming back in the future. 10/10

We much enjoyed our 5-night stay at Luccombe Manor. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room (number 1) was clean and comfortable - all it lacked was a sea view, but we knew that when we booked. A very good breakfast, served in the conservatory with a view out to sea. Our evening meals (we were on a half-board tariff, which was good value for money) were all very good and with a different menu selection each night. The only downside is that the evening meals are served in the adjacent Luccombe Hall hotel which involves a 2-3 minute walk along a path through the garden ending in a bit of a climb up steps to the entrance. Not ideal in the dark/rain. Easy parking but no lift in the hotel.

This is our third stay at Luccombe Manor and we weren’t disappointed. Lovely comfortable clean room, we ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was excellent, the staff were very friendly and the service was great. Breakfast was also excellent with lots of choice and again friendly staff. We would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.

We stayed four nights last week with our daughter, her husband and two very lively grandsons plus Rusty, their dog. Admittedly the sun shone almost continuously and in every other respect the hotel experience was among the very best we have had. The room (No 2) was excellent with a fantastic sea view. Afternoons were given over to relaxing by the pool while the two boys were in and out of the pool. A big plus were the excellent meals and bar service.

A special mention for the convenience of several car charging points - every hotel should have them!

All the staff were efficient and helpful and an exceptional mention needs to be made for @brookehughes who demonstrates her comprehensive customer service ethos as her second nature. Thank you Brooke and thank you Luccombe Manor and we shall certainly return.

Beautiful situation. Excellent staff from reception throughout the hotel and its sister Luccombe Hall Hotel.||Convenient location for Shanklin old village and its restaurants.||A very short walk to Shanklin Chine with the hotel providing courtesy passes. We'll worth a visit.||Evening meals excellent but only served at the sister hotel. Breakfast in Luccombe Manor excellent.||Our breakfast was served in the conservatory which runs across the width of the hotel, facing the garden and the sea. Two other dining rooms behind the conservatory, one of which contains beds for dogs.||Beware, because the in-room literature and web-site stated that 'we have our very own doggie dining room', when in fact dogs are allowed in ALL eating areas in Luccombe Manor, including the conservatory, but only at three tables against one wall of the Luccombe Hall dining room. ||When I tried to question dogs in the conservatory when their very own doggie dining room lay empty I received a vitriolic response from the manager who would, in my opinion, benefit from a customer care and anger management course. He spoiled what otherwise would have been a lovely birthday holiday because I dared to seek clarification of the rules for dog owners.

Staff were excellent, so helpful and smiley. The dog wash station was useful. The dinner at luccombe hall was disappointing though. Serving red mullet with a mushy pea puree was odd. We enjoyed listening to the singer in the bar in the evening. The rooms were nice and bathrooms were spotless. Swimming pools and games around the grounds were a real pleasure. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the island. Highly recommended.
