loved it so much! i had a private room at the front of the building. the bedding was clean and the bed was already made up. i had a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a table and chair and a full length mirror. they had a microwave, a fridge, an ironing board and iron, of course toilets and showers and any other cleaning supplies you would need at no extra cost. the hosts were kind and accommodating. even being on the street it was quiet. at night. the location is great, near all the shops and the train station. the only downfall is all the stairs to get to your room but that's inevitable as its a hole in the wall and i am simply lazy. you're given a set of keys and are free to come and go as you please. i would love to stay here again.

Really welcoming, and with a lovely laid back atmosphere. Super friendly! No issues at all with us turning up later than expected in the night (train delays). Delicious veggie breakfast. Building is nice - old with high ceilings. Facilities all v clean, shower worked and water hot. Really close (5min) to the station and to amenities. My wife, baby daughter and I had a great stay overall - would definitely stay here again!

I have been staying in this wonderful guest house for two months now and I absolutely love it. My room is really comfortable, everything is very clean and the hosts - Maggie and Peach- are super kind and accommodating. There are lovely extras like books, board games and DVDs to borrow and the whole atmosphere radiates kindness with sweet, positive messages all over the place. The guest house is in an ideal location as it is close to the railway station, to the centre, to the riverside and you can actually walk to many amazing nature beauty spots. If you stay long-term, the monthly discount is extremely generous. You can also have breakfast and delicious vegan options are on offer too. I highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay at Aabarlee guest house, Peach was very welcoming and accommodating, patient and tolerant, even when we arrived with an extra unannounced guest. The guest house/hostel is basically a stairwell where each floor housed several rooms. The room decor is not my taste, mismatched furniture and a little dated but pleasant enough with all mod cons available, including tea/coffee making facilities, desk, mirror, wardrobe, sink in the room, towels available, puzzles and games for children and a table and chairs by the window. The mattress was a little hard for me but clean and I had a pleasant sleep. In the hallway there are other guests rooms all numbered and right outside our room was a shared bathroom, a shower room, a microwave and fridge with milk provided. The breakfast was delicious and very filling and there was tea/coffee, water and orange juice provided as well as cereals available and pancakes and veggie/plant based options available. Check out was a little early but we were able to leave our luggage and there are lockers available, we were handed a key and when returning to get our luggage late in the evening we posted the key through the letter box on the 1st floor, so this was brilliant and very handy. The key situation was a little frustrating though as you are only provided with one key for your whole group. I love Union street where Aabarlee guest house is located, it is a vibrant pedestrian and cycle zone, it's a colourful and relaxing vibe with wooded seating areas and lots of bars and restaurants nearby. We visited Bank bar just over from the guest house, a fun lively bar with live music. Also The Traders House is friendly and great for drinks and food and service is superb. For amenities Overgate shopping centre is near by too with shops like Primark, H&M and Debenhams. Tesco is around the corner, lots of nail bars everywhere but most importantly you are not far from the V&A, the HMS Unicorn which I love, and strolling along the high st you will come across some fantastic statues like penguins walking along the wall, the Desperate Dan, Minnie the minx and a few other great statues to admire. The guest house is also not far from the train station and Seagate bus station.

Perfect location - just yards from the station and not much further from the Caird Hall where my daughter's graduation ceremony was held. My room and all the facilities were lovely and clean, and they provide plates and cutlery - so handy! Helpful WhatsApp contact with the owner before I arrived meant quick and easy self-check-in.

After a severely delayed journey from England to Dundee, I was thrilled to arrive at Aabalree Guest House. I arrived at midnight, but the key had been left out for me so I could check in by myself.
There’s lovely decorations through out, clean premises and delicious breakfast which I can heartedly recommend 😊 I didn’t get to meet Maggie, but Peach made me feel very welcome and you could tell how much he loves Dundee.
Overall just a great place, will tell my friends about it ✌️🌸
