Just had a great weekend at Abbotts farm celebrating a birthday - the house feels very homely for the size of it .. there was more than enough room for all 18 of us made up of 4 generations !! The kitchen Pantry is the best we’ve stayed in they have literally thought of everything you could need… beds were all comfy and being decorated for Christmas was a lovely touch .. will definitely stay there again !! We have just returned from a great weekend stay at Abbott's farm. The house is huge and comfortable housed 16 of us. The farmhouse vibes are really welcoming and each room has it's own little quirks. The house was clean and tidy on arrival as was the pool and jacuzzi. The space in the garden is amazing and the pool is well maintained and clean. We spent most of the time in the garden as the weather was amazing but you could easily spend many hours in the house with the huge seating areas. The games room was amazing and we spent many hours playing pool and table tennis. Overall I would recommend a stay at Abbott's farm and we will be back in the future.

Really nice place to be, loads of character and the feeling of seclusion without isolation. Loads of room for everyone and the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen......and by some distance! The owner Andy is a really nice guy and makes you feel like you are looked after. It's a house we all adore, full of history and we all felt completely relaxed and will hopefully book again (many of our party didn't make it so we couldn't make the most of it sadly). The hot tub is superb and the garden in the summer would be superb. Really pleased we came, it really made us feel refreshed 👍

Just returned from a weekend away with the girls. This is a fabulous “quirky” house! Big and rambling. Not everyone’s cup of tea but suited us down to the ground. Everything we needed was there in spades. The owner went out of his way to make sure that the swimming pool was ready for us as we do cold water dipping. ( this was March) It was then shear luxury to go straight into the jacuzzi! The rooms, including the bedrooms are all really big, no complaints about the beds and the main lounge had really comfy sofas. A very decent price and the owner was great with all communications. Not a huge amount to do in the area, but that didn’t matter to us. Great dining pub just 0.7 miles down the road where we had a really lovely meal with fantastic service. Would definitely recommend.

We hired Abbots farm out for a get together/ birthday with 17 friends, and I have to say it is one of the best houses I have ever stayed in! The house has so much character, great facilities and was based in a lovely location. The owners were very friendly and approachable ensuring we had everything we needed but also gave us space and privacy. The facilities were brilliant with a heated pool, fantastic hot tub, games room and loads of parking. The house was very well equipped with bedding, towels, crockery and cleaning products. It even had a washing machine and tumble dryer which was very useful. It’s a perfect house for a group getaway and we intended to return in the future. 5 star recommendation!

We stayed at Abbott’s Farm for our 2 weeks annual family holiday. We were a group of 12 ranging in age from 5 - 68 years with two dogs. We all agreed this was the best place we have stayed so far, and we have stayed in a few different holiday homes all with swimming pool and Hot tub. Andy the owner was very friendly as was his wife Renata and nothing was too much trouble. He checked the Pool and Hot tub every morning and evening to make sure all was ok for us. As a family we could all enjoy something from this house. The swimming pool and Hot tub were well used by all of us. The bedrooms were comfy and large on the whole. The smaller twin room on the end which connected with stairs ( quite steep have to be careful) with the twin room downstairs was ideal for our dogs to check where we were. The children took over the large lounge on the left nicknamed the tartan room because of the carpet ( found large tub of Lego in the property which kept them amused) and the adults had the other lounge for movie days, large tv with all the sky channels. The children loved playing hide and seek in the house and large garden. We made full use of all the facilities loads of stuff, pots pans etc.Great jacuzzi bath and steam shower with lots of buttons it even plays music. The weather was glorious so had a few barbecues . Andy has now added another gas barbie just for vegetarians, just another thoughtful idea on his part. Plenty of outside seating and loungers with tables. Large sun umbrella which was used constantly. The Games room which is situated across from the main house up a flight of stairs was also well used by us all. (The table tennis table broke while we were there but Andy ordered another one straight away). We had a few cocktail nights in here, comfy sofa, armchair and plenty of others. We took our own Dartboard and Darts with us which Andy let us put up. Had a few games of snooker also. Skegness is about an hours drive from the farmhouse but we’ll worth the visit. Pleasure Beach, Fantasy Island, Butlins day pass, Seal sanctuary were all visited as was the Wonder Circus which was in town. Abbott’s Farm was a wonderful place to stay and we certainly made ourselves at home for the two weeks, like a home away from home. It’s a Large Old Farmhouse, a little worn in places, but very clean and very comfy. Andy was the best host we have had over the years. Very helpful, very friendly but not too intrusive and we will certainly be back. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Amazing place to celebrate my 60th birthday with 4 generation of the family, down stairs bedroom and shower room perfect for dad. At times forgot we had 5 grandchildren with us if they weren't in the pool they where in the games room.
Definitely will go back, beautiful house in a beautiful village

This lovely huge cottage had ample room for 12 of us celebrating my sisters 60th birthday! The owner was caring & responded to all our questions. He made sure the hot tub & swimming pool were heated every day. The kitchen was fantastic with gas rings, 3 ovens, microwaves everything you need to cook with - glasses plates cutlery, cooking utensils. A massive table to sit around & have our meals. Although there is also another dining room but not as cosy as the kitchen. Two fridge freezers, dishwasher etc also available. We also loved using the games room for ping pong & pool. Definitely kept the younger members of our group entertained. All bedrooms were lovely, amazing jet showers & baths & plenty of them. We will definitely be going back!
