Stayed for the weekend in April 2017. Was very clean well kept. Parking pass available for your car. 5 minute walk from train station and to the centre of town. If you are at front noise from traffic more so during day- but it's not the end of the world. Shared bathroom facilities but again not a problem. There is tea and coffee in rooms, breakfast is help yourself when your ready - so no issue with a set time. Lovely lady that runs it is very helpful. Very reasonably priced. It was so much nicer to stay in a small family run place than big hotels, Coventry only has a handful of guest houses left and they should be supported. Well worth the price. |

This is a budget guest house and has what is needed provided you are ok with a shared bathroom. The room was comfortable and ok in size, the owner very pleasant and easy to deal with and the location excellent, just a short walk from the station and the town. you can hear traffic noise but that should be expected given its location.

Great welcome, excellent parking facilities.Very comfortable room within two minutes walk from city centre and close to main tourist attractions. Found it convenient to use microwave, fridge and breakfast room at any time, and was impressed with how competitive their charges were. Will certainly stay here should I visit Coventry again.

Hello everyone,||||I would really like to share my experience with this guest house and particularly with its' owner and some other people whose function in the place were not clearly established. I stayed there with my sister for 5 consecutive nights for her graduation from university. Before arriving there, we spoke on the phone several times and once Marjorie (the owner) offered us another free room in case we considered we will need it (for parents or other people accompanying us).||The first night we entered we asked Marjorie if she could set up a single room for my sister's boyfriend, who was supposed to be arriving the next day, followed by her ensuring us it is no problem to do so. The next day we woke up to realize that the room was already given to another person with Marjories' poor memory of us having led this conversation being offered as an excuse.||From then on simple things as her constantly knocking on the door, meeting us in the hallway, discussing nonsensical matters began irritating us even more as they started to resemble some form of chasing as soon as she would hear our room door being open. Shower cabin was constantly stuck with hair and all kinds of dirt. Some of the windows could not close properly so this allowed me to wake up during a couple of mornings because of the cold air coming in. This led us to join the two beds in the room.||On top of this, the last day (our supposedly check-out date) an old guy came and told us we need to ''leave now'' after doubting that me and Marjorie have agreed upon us leaving later the same afternoon since no one was expected to be moving in the same night and no cleaners were supposed to come for the weekend.||For everyone who thinks 50 quid is a low-budget room and that they could possibly survive through minor issues this might bring with itself, I would like to share that valuing your own privacy and not letting yourself get disturbed for pointless matters are good reasons for every self-respecting person to leave with no pleasant memories from their stay.

Got what I need for affordable price. Very close to the city centre, walking distance. It is not luxury, but if you need a place to stay overnight in Coventry (e.g business trip) that is where you may want to go. If came by car, you can to take parking permit from hotel manager and you can leave your car near the hotel.

Large room, but 6 rooms share 2 bathrooms. There is a sink in the room. Very steep stairs, and funny smells in the room. ||Very close to a busy road, couldn't have slept without earplugs. |Breakfast was just some toast, cereals and milk left out. |Depends what you're looking for, I suppose.
