An excellent base for exploring Ludlow and surroundings. Hosts/owners Peter and Elizabeth were extremely welcoming and very engaging as hosts with a very comprehensive knowledge of the town. ||Nothing was too much trouble for them and meals were served in a very convivial and relaxing atmosphere. Food quality was outstanding and Peter always provided a comprehensive explanation of what the food was and how it had been prepared.||My room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and adjoining shower room/toilet and TV was also provided. Had I wanted I could also have prepared my own food in an adjoining room. All told it was an excellent weekend (2 nights) in a beautiful part of the country in a superb establishment with excellent and friendly hosts. I unreservedly recommend Acorn Place.

We have wanted to visit Ludlow for a while so looked for somewhere to stay. From our first enquiry the owners, Peter and Elizabeth, made us feel that Acorn Place was the right choice for us. The personal touch in our first few contacts made a big difference to us.|We stayed for two nights and left wishing we could have stayed longer. The rooms were beautiful: spotlessly clean and very comfortable. More of an apartment than a B&B with a kitchen, bathroom and lounge area and a bedroom containing a huge, comfortable bed. Acorn Place is just out of the town in a peaceful setting but close enough to walk into Ludlow. Very pleased!|Our hosts were fantastic, as many others have commented on, and were very friendly and helpful. Peter's breakfasts taste amazing. He takes pride in providing something special and top restaurant quality. Elizabeth's daily baking treats were a lovely surprise and very welcome too.|We could not recommend Acorn Place more highly and we will be back soon.|

Fantastic Bed and Breakfast with the best Breakfast ever||Thank you so very much Peter and Elizabeth for making our stay with you so comfortable.||I, my husband and our 5year old son stayed here two night and it was just fantastic. A great location, great attention to every detail, very attentive hosts. Our room was very clean, beds were very comfortable! The breakfast was better than any 5-star hotel (and it's not easy to satisfy us, as I am a vegan and my son is very picky eater). You have such a lovely home and thank you so much for all your kindness to us. Highly recommended.

Booked to stay at Acorn place at relatively short notice after deciding to visit Ludlow for a weekend break. We had a wonderful stay in the Clee Hill room & although we had booked B&B the space is really a ground floor flat & is perfectly set up for a self catering stay. The hosts, Peter and Elizabeth, made us both feel very welcome with great knowledge of the area and places to visit. Our trip also included a sing song, birthday card and some chocolates for my Birthday which went down a treat! The breakfasts, which Peter takes real pride in, are delicious. It was a shame to have to come home!

Acorn Place was really great, comfortable and well equipped. My husband and I stayed in one of the suites with it's own kitchen/dining/living area. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and they supplied some basics for our arrival - milk, coffee, tea and biscuits. The kitchen has everything you really need to cook for yourself and the furniture in the sitting area is very comfortable, as is the bed! The bathroom is a bit spare but spacious and there was ample hot water for a bath.

We have been regular visitors to this B&B with self catering facilites. The hosts have been very congenial and professional. The accomadation has been good. The breakfasts have been excellent and the option of self catering has been very convenient. We loved the double aspect window overlooking fields of quietly munching Alpaca, sheep and cows. So relaxing! Just a twenty minute walk into Ludlow Centre. Sadly this week will be our last here, as the owners are selling up and moving to pastures new. We wish them very well with their next endeavours. Thank you.

The very best experience we have ever encountered in any B&B. Elizabeth and Peter are so friendly and entertaining. The rooms are beautifully laid out to offer optimum comfort to their guests. The breakfast is always fresh & delicious. Peter's cooking and hosting is just fab! They are a couple of dotes and I love going back to their wonderful B&B as often as I can.

We never expected a 5 stars B&B in Ludlow but we were happily surprised to have found and experienced this gem of a B&B. The Google map would have missed the obscured turning into this hidden gem of a place but friendly neighbouring farm rerouted the missing directive. The room is in itself tastefully furnished exuding both warmth and a picturesque countryside pasture horizon impressed upon from the large lookout windows with a private cornered lounge inside the room complimented by self-serving English teas and biscuits for blissful relaxed enjoyment. The very best of Acorn Place is surely reserved for the super cool Hosts, Peter and Elizabeth, both engaging, friendly, hilarious, well travelled, impeccably learned, worldly and above all an uncelebrated Michelin grade cook in Peter. Peter, in your multi talented profiles in theater, banking, gardener, interior decorator and chef extraordinaire, we have to admit by far we have one of the best breakfasts served in the whole of UK. We have been to some of the best and your breakfast is par excellence and top the list both in term of presentation and exquisite culinary wonders. Are you sure you are not a master chef! Thank you so much Peter and Elizabeth for sharing with us your wonderful home and for us to be a tiny part of your interesting life journey.
