A friend and I stayed here for one night during our quick visit to Inverness/Loch Ness. We absolutely regret not planning to stay here for longer! Airanloch B&B is a gem. After looking around online at several different hotels in Inverness and Drumnadrochit, I'm so glad that I stumbled upon Airanloch and got to stay there. Carla and Karl are lovely humans and wonderful hosts - we instantly felt welcomed into their beautifully decorated home. ||||The room we stayed in was squeaky clean, with thoughtful touches, great use of space, and en-suite bathroom. The floor-to-ceiling windows and armchairs were perfect for relaxing after a long few days of travel. I could have sat there and enjoyed the view of Loch Ness for days. Bed was also comfy for a good night's rest. ||||The garden is landscaped beautifully, with bushes and flowers that I couldn't stop staring at. It provided a serene atmosphere to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. With the late summer sunset time, we were able to go for a walk along the lake - loved it. ||||Food - oh my goodness. So delicious, so beautifully plated, with generous portion sizes. Karl is a master in the kitchen! Carla was the hostess with the mostest! We had both dinner and breakfast here, and I wish we had stayed longer so we could try more of their dishes. For dinner, we had a starter (scallops), entree (salmon), and dessert (sticky toffee pudding). All of the dishes were amazing! We couldn't help but clean off our plates, which left us uncomfortably full (haha) and in need of a long walk! The menu had many great options, but you can't go wrong with any choice. We glanced over at the other guests' dishes, and everything looked so good! Breakfast was lovely as well (I had the full Scottish!), with coffee/tea, fresh juice, and nourishing dishes. ||||Hosts - Carla and Karl (and best doggo Brian) were absolutely lovely. You can tell that they put so much joy and effort into running the B&B. They were attentive to our needs and gave us helpful travel tips around the area, although we were only staying for one night. They were so generous in accommodating our travel logistics/needs and helping us out. We are so grateful! ||||Overall, we had a very relaxing and rejuvenating stay at Airanloch. Don't hesitate to book, because this home and hosts are truly gems!

Where do I start. We did a road trip through Eng and Scotland staying in 12 different places. This was far-and-away the best spot. If I could rate it higher that 10 I would (and I don't give 10 ratings very often). The host was beyond anything I could ever imagine - so friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Oh, and to say he's a top class chef is an understatement. Make sure you have you dinners here too - incredible. Breakfast the best we had too. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Extremely clean and the decor of this place is off the charts. My wife and I just loved everything about this place, the hosts and my oh my, just all round wonderful. Oh and the location - don't stay in Inverness (nothing much there). This place on Lock Ness is ridiculously brilliant - lovely views and such calmness. They have a beautiful garden you can sit out and enjoy the tranquility

Airanloch B&B is a wee gem that we are so happy we found during Covid back in the summer of 2021. We have returned every year at least twice a year since our first visit due to the stunning location, beautiful accommodation and excellent hosts (& not forgetting lovely Brian ❤️). From the lovely bed linen and soft fluffy towels, beautifully appointed rooms and delicious food, there is nothing not to like!! Karl & Carla are wonderful hosts who are so helpful & have extensive knowledge of the local area, giving guests advice on activities & places to visit locally 🥰

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb hosted by Karl and Carla. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were celebrating our first wedding anniversary and a belated honeymoon, and were touched to find a box of chocolates waiting for us in the room — such a thoughtful gesture.

The room itself was spotless, super comfortable, and had the most breathtaking view over the loch. Watching the sunrise and sunset from our window was absolutely magical.

And the food — wow! It was hands down the best we had all weekend. We almost booked a restaurant but decided to stay in, and we’re so glad we did. If you're planning a stay here, you must try the food!

Karl and Carla are not only fantastic hosts, but genuinely lovely people. We truly hope to come back again soon… ideally when we can ship the kids off to the grandparents! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Stayed four nights celebrating my birthday lovely hotel and lovely hosts. Even the room had everything comfortable bed and pillows and added bonus a coffee machine. we didn't eat on an evening but the food looked amazing..the breakfast was lovely and the best black pudding I've ever tasted can't wait to return again next year

We have stayed here several times now and each time it just gets better! The location is perfect with it being directly on the shores of Loch Ness. The views from the bedrooms and the garden are absolutely stunning. The rooms are beautiful and have everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. The food at Airanloch is sublime - easily 5 star.
Karl and Carla are very accommodating, friendly and welcoming hosts. Nothing is too much bother!
Will definitely be back again soon!

Very beautiful location! The Bed & Breakfast was immaculate and the rooms were very clean and cozy. Breakfast was delicious and wished we had time to try the dinner as well. Views were spectacular and the host was very friendly and helpful with our traveling related questions. We wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely recommend to those traveling in that area

We loved this bed and breakfast. The view was wonderful. The room was clean, comfortable and inviting. The food was outstanding! Carl is an excellent cook. Just minutes from Inverness. Our favorite place to stay in Scotland!! The hospitality was superb♥️
