I cannot believe it has taken me this long to discover Albert Cottage Hotel. It truly was fabulous.
Every member of their staff is a credit. They are friendly and happy and nothing is too much trouble.
The food was so delicious and their breakfast choices were incredible.
We stayed in Empress Room and it was sumptuous.
I really cannot wait to return. Bravo to all who made this place so very special. 10 out of 10 without doubt.

We had our wedding at Albert Cottage on 14.09.2024, and I can quite honestly say it was perfect. The manager Chris we really liked from day 1 of originally booking the venue in January 2023, this was a massive thing for us, he was so organised, helpful and really cared about making sure our day was going to be exactly as we wanted. He is such a lovely person, and we both just want to say thank you so much to Chris, we couldn’t really thank him enough for how great he made our day. We also want to say how amazing the food was, all of our guests were so impressed with the quality of food, and we really loved it as well. We stayed the night of the wedding; the rooms were so impressive, classy & clean making it a perfect place to stay too! The breakfast provided in the morning offered a lot of choices, and it was all just delicious. The staff were helpful and friendly the whole time we were there and the venue was just beautiful, making it truly the best day of our lives. ||Thank you so much Chris & the rest of Albert Cottage||Ellery & Hannah

I booked direct over the phone for a last minute get away, I stayed in the family room with myself, my wife and my two teenage boys. I was pleasantly surprised by the room, it was huge, more like a small flat with multiple rooms, very well laid out, nice and tidy and welcoming. The hotel itself is very well presented and the staff are a genuinely lovely bunch who clearly love working there. I travel a lot on business and this is a lovely change from the clinical corporate hotels. It has character, depth and I will definitely stay here again. Oh, and the breakfast was top notch, fantastic selection and attentive staff. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

My husband booked a meal at Albert Cottage last Saturday for us and friends visiting from the mainland. We enjoyed pre- dinner drinks on the lovely terrace, then went through to the very stylish dining room. We were looked after from start to finish by Luke and Ash, who were charming and attentive and didn't rush us. We had an exceptional meal and couldn't resist having starters and desserts as well as the mains - everything was delicious! Amazing, stunning, spectacular. I can't say enough how wonderful this hotel is. From the moment you step foot in the hotel, you are transported to a different time. True old-world charm . The rooms are modern yet reflected what it must have been like when Prince Albert stayed there. The gardens are all so English. The staff is amazing and friendly and delightful. There is a restaurant with an excellent selection, bar service, and breakfast is served in the most delightful morning room. Great location to see all the Isle of Wight has to offer.

We had a few bad experiences of Sunday lunch and gave up earlier this year. Today we returned and were shocked in a good way. The food has improved 100% and despite my order being missed they couldn't have been more professional in their actions and soon remedied the problem. Cool historic property with beautiful grounds. Our room was fine, nothing really incredible and the bed was rather antique and wasn’t quite as long as I am tall. Staff was friendly and lounge area inside and outdoors are very nice and comfortable. Bus stop is a short walk down the street and there is plenty of free parking on the property as well.
